I've just returned to this and can't penetrate to grid. I have lots of the smaller letter words but cant place them in the grid. I have the 2 12 letter words in place I think correctly but need some help with the 2 11 letter words A and D any hints or help welcome.

The 11 letter A and D clues are not thematic.

I'm still struggling with the 11 letter D. The only artist I can find has L as third letter of first word and that doesn't fit with the 7 letter Y I have. It's driving me mad.

The artist is a Spanish one. E is the third letter

It is a subtractive anagram (with a term for books taken out)
