Hi Roof, I'm stuck on the thematic F. I have FR?r? crossing the thematic S and the non-thematic Q. Is this right?

The thematic F crosses with thematic S
(after you change the R to L)
it also crosses with non thematic Q

I finally finished and you are right Mamya. I've got the thematic H in the right place and replaced the thematic G to come down from the ZI?G?R?T and changed the thematic K solution. So all is right with the world and I can go on holiday happy.

Just for interest the thematic F is the name of our visiting cat.

Have a lovely holiday, Roof. Sadly I am still struggling and the Bank Holiday is nearly over. I have not got the long L word, which I have as L*C*M*D**.
Nor have I got the 7 letter Y (Y***E**)
I also have 6 Down as **e*A*I*O.
I expect you have all packed up and gone home but if anyone is still there and able to help, I'd be grateful.

7 letter Y - Yonkers
L = Lycomedes

L - Half of the word 'only' + a word for funny plays/programmes minus 'i'

Y - a city in New York State - think autumn school yard game (change initial)
