All gone as you say in the other thread Jazzy, and what a relief - but who on earth can be stupid enough to put such things on the Forum?
I am just wondering if it is not a lark, a bad joke, a trap into which we all fell ? I mean it seems so incredible that anyone with such criminal intentions should go to such length to advertise their 'activities' on a Forum such as ours! I just can't believe it.

Pigale, it is believable.

Hi, Rusty!
How are things? You haven't been around much today?
I did decide to record "A Man For All Seasons" this afternoon, although I have seen it before many moons ago! I'll report back on if it's as good as I remember!
Did you order any books from Amazon with your Gift card? What choices did you make?
My husband got a voucher for Fathers Day, too, from our younger daughter and family. He's no idea what he's going to buy as yet.....
Are you worried about what Norah said about security issues? I thought we were being careful what we said; it didn't occur to either of us that your mentioning the cafes you and your granddaughters visited could be a security problem.
I'm sure there is nothing to worry about........but we'd better be more careful in future?
It's a very sick - and sad - world out there.

Yes Rusty, I saw it and even read some of it (advertising false/true diplomas from ...Cameroun amongst other things) - ~What I mean is how serious was it ? Was it a bad gag, rather stupid I grant you, but to see how we would react.

I simply cannot believe that the guilty author of that spam was serious and really meant to advertise - its just too much for me to take it in!

Not a joke by one of us. Google "fake passport adverts". Common in this form on many sites. Just a bot.

If you're naive, would you like to buy a kitchen?

Pigale, my post to you was a joke, in not very good taste.
Please accept my apologies.
I shall look out my hair shirt and long johns as a punishment!
Elle, no I have not been around much. I have been burgled and was helping with enquiries.
No, no, I was not. Just having a wee joke.
Norah, of course, is very wise (I nearly said a "wise old bird"!) and was perfectly correct in passing on a warning. You will have to cut down on your questions.
I dont really think when I respond.
It would be a pretty desperate burglar who would want to rob me, I'm afraid.
I have not ordered books today.

Ney! I don't buy that sort things on line! Even from serious stores. So, if you have one for sale, I'm afraid you have asked the wrong person.... :)
