Hey, Rusty!
I think I misunderstood! I thought you were referring to actually performing flamenco dancing yourself? ( altho, I hasten to add, there is no reason why you shouldn't do that!)
It looks very complicated.... so it does!
Re the new car...yes , it is running nicely, although my husband is finding all the gizmos and gadgets somewhat confusing! (there are an incredible number of them!) But the salesman did say that every buyer finds that - he recommends each new owner comes back to the showroom after two weeks for a 'refresher course' (yes, really!) and then decides which features have proved useful and which ones are required to be 'switched off'!
I've never come across this before - but then we've never had such an up-to-date car before (this is only a year old) - we usually have much older cars!
Very pleased with it tho' - the novelty of an opening boot is fantastic!
I look forward to hearing more about Henrietta by proxy, when you read the book!

Hello, Elle!
That is good about the car.
I would be lost with the gadgetry too.
I do not even have the wireless on in my car.
I like peace and quiet when I am driving!
Good idea to back in a couple of weeks with a list of questions...so it is.
Yes, it will be a few days before the book gets here.
I may order some more tomorrow (with the gift card!)
Can't beat a good book for a penny!

Good Morning Doglet,

Sorry to hear about your weather.

Please tell me, in what way has cricket changed? has it got, like with many other sports, anything to do with professionalism in the sport? Surely players are not 'sold' or 'transfered' from one club to another?

OK I don't understand it, but it does not mean I want to know nothing about it; my husband loved the game and we always listened to TMS on radio.
To me, it is part of the British culture - after all, you do say 'that's bnot cricket' when you want to say something is not correct by British standards, no?

Cricket has changed it used be a pleasant game but once money came in to it suddenly became a different game altogether the Indian influence has been detrimental too and there are too many matches.Things change all the time I know but not always for the better Not cricketing weather today and dogs and cats very fed up and I wanted to go to a garden centre

Doglet, whenever money comes into a sport, it spoils it. Thank goodness it has not spoilt Rugby yet ! My husband was a very keen player, (he played for London Scottish) and my father loved to watch the game on TV, so like you and cricket, I grew up with it.

You'd better go to a glasshouse type of garden centre!

Goodness, you were all online and chatting very early this morning!
Raining here now , although I managed to get out earlier with the dog without getting wet!
We too were thinking of going to a garden centre this morning, but have put the idea on hold!
Did you actually 'row,' yourself, Doglet? or just enjoyed watching it?
I used to do some rowing when we went on holiday to the Lake district in my mis-spent youth!
Shades of "Swallows and Amazons", Chris!
Pigale, hope the rain isn't with you and spoiling the cherry picking?
