hello doglet

I am not sure quite what you mean- it's another day, not tomorrow? Anyway, have a good day whenever it is.

Afternoon, Rusty!
We had a good walk although it drizzled somewhat throughout. Much cooler, only about 15C; pleasanter though, especially for walking.
I've just finished watching the recording of the Athletics. No surprises.
Usain Bolt won the Men's 200m, altho Hughes came a close second (def. someone to be watched!)
David Rudesha won the 800m (but not as easily as one might have thought)
There was a very strong wind, which made all events difficult.
How is the cycling going? And I hope you enjoy your programme about Henry Cecil and Frankel.
Re Hotmail on the Hudl......yes, I can access it now after a fashion. Something amiss tho'. Am leaving it to the 'expert' - she's coming over next weekend for Fathers' Day!
No problem with Hotmail on the desk top.

Hello, Elle!
I liked the cycling.
Great weather in France and beautiful scenery.
Even saw a waterfall!
I have not watched Sir Henry yet. Probably leave it until tomorrow.
It is a nice evening here.
I have hardly laid eyes on a wasp this year?
I wonder why that is.
Do you have any in the South?

Hello Rusty, I'm in the south and I've not seen many wasps. Hoorah! Long may it continue. What are they for?

I don't miss them, Susan!
Just wondering where they are this year!

Wasps are vital to the eco-system and without them there would be an incorrect balance. I just leave all the insects to sort themselves out in my garden. It is completely organic :)

Hi Jazzgirl, I do agree about the eco-system and I do leave the little creatures to do what they do. I don't spray anything and some years the garden looks better than other years! Some years I'm on top of it - some years I'm swamped! This year -so, so! But I always dread the wasps! However, this year I have loads of lovely bees!
