Hard to miss the red socks!
Lorenzo has been downgraded from hurricane to storm, as he crossed the Atlantic.
No damage in Donegal so far, I am being told.
It will be weakening as it gets to UK, so hopefully it won't be too disruptive.
My son has just gone home.

Both 1500m heats went well.
A pity that the first heat was so slow, as it meant that Sarah McDonald did not then go through as a fastest loser.
But well done , Laura.
A nicely executed race.
And Saturday's Final will be full of top racing talent!

I have a feeling Shelby Houlihan will go well in the final.
The cable connecting my Chromebook to the charger is quite frayed and occasionally emitting wee blue sparks!
I have ordered another charger on eBay.
Hope it arrives fairly soon!

I missed Kat's last event, but she did very well.

Just a temporary fix until new charger arrives.
I was looking at the Chromebooks in Curry's online and was tempted, but resisted, for now, anyway!
