Hi, Rusty!
Well, we were agreed on our top three acts.
Richard Jones was skilled as always... I am riveted each time, and watch and listen very carefully!
I thought it disgraceful that Mayyas did not come in the top three.
They were incredible!
Yes, your golf should be good tomorrow......but won't you will miss some of it when you go out to the Pine Cone?
We are going out for an early walk.
I am not sure whether the family are coming over later.... I have a feeling, though, that one of the children has something on, tomorrow.

Good morning, Elle!
Seems a fine day outside!
There are a lot of "odd" choices for the BGT final.
Paddy and Nico were chosen and yet there was a brilliant dance act a couple of weeks ago (from Japan or China?) that did not get a mention.
Mayyas were excellent, but it looks like the audience were not impressed.
Last night's show was unsatisfactory.
It appears, nowadays, that Simon is the only judge to offer critical comment.
The other judges are more like cheerleaders.
I'll miss a bit of the golf, but it is on all day.
(Granddaughters come first!)

Good morning, Rusty!
What a beautiful day!
Blue sky, sunny, with a fresh breeze
I had an enjoyable walk!
I have the morning in front of me now, as a clean sheet......with time for coffee and crosswords!
Yes, I do agree with you about BGT.
I think this "Champion of Champions" competition is becoming somewhat of a farce......
There will be no kudos in winning over a selection of mediocre acts!
Yes, granddaughters most definitely come first!
The golf will still be in action when you come back.
What time are you being collected?

Hello, Elle!
It's a bit dull here, now.
BGT is disappointing me.
And we still have the old pensioner to come!
Only "wow" act is Kseniya Simonova, so far.
I think they should try for some of the America GT acts.
11 o'clock I should be leaving.
Should be home in time to see Lexi and Georgia teeing off.
Ciganda v Kang are first out, tee off at 11.40.
The score is 8-8.
12 points to play for today.
USA need 14 points to retain the trophy.
Europe need half a point more, to win it.
Should be absorbing stuff!
Big crowds there, already, and plenty anoraks being worn!

Hi, Rusty!
I hope you have had a good time at the Pine Cone?
Was it just Miss L-B who accompanied you, or did her sister come, too?
I meant to ask you if you caught the reference that one of the judges (I cannot remember whom) made about "Diversity"?
It was a comparison about dance groups, but it made it pretty clear that Diversity would not be coming on the Show.
So far, I think my money would have gone on Kseniya; the ventriloquist from last week; Alexa and the dogs; Richard Jones; and the Mayyas from Lebanon.
Have I missed any one?
No, I think those, so far, would have been my choices.
Who gets to vote in the Final?
The "Super Fans"........or the viewing public?
Are you back watching the golf?
How's it going?

Hello, Elle!
Yes, home now.
Miss O was there, too.
I had an idea Diversity were not appearing, but I don't know why.
Alexa and dogs were great, too.
No idea about the final, Elle, we are entering unknown territory.
I have the golf on.
A long way to go, but the atmosphere is great.
The Americans are in good voice, singing to their team as they tee off.
Just a splendid sporting occasion!
Looks cold there. Anoraks everywhere.
Juli Inkster is only wearing two hats today!

Rusty/Elle

I am the bearer of bad news if you were hoping to vote in the final of BGT champions. The whole series, including the final, was recorded earlier this year. In fact the winner excitedly announced the result on instagram, but thefurious ITV bosses had it removed immediatey. I've no doubt a large number had already seen it and possibly spread the news somewhere

Hello, Cerasus!
I knew it was recorded earlier this year.
I read that the identity of the winner is known, but I don't know who.
My suspicions were aroused when there was no betting for BGT on Paddy Power web site.
Normally there is a book on every heat and the final, but nothing this year.

Hi, Rusty!
That was nice that Miss O came out with you, too.
It is great out, here - a pleasant temperature to sit and read in the garden!
I am reading one of my recently acquired, racing-based, murder/ detective books by Felix Francis.
He tells a good tale, just like his dad!
Great for relaxing!
I have just read Cerasus' remark about the BGT judging!
What a set-up!
I guess the only way forward is to ignore its being a competition , and just enjoy the versatility of the acts.
I did not know that the winner has already been decided!
Do you think the whole show is "rigged"?
Maybe that is why "Diversity" did not wish to take part?
I am enjoying seeing some of the acts, as I am reasonably new to the programme, and have seen but few of them before...... but for me , BGT has already lost its credibility.......
Do we know who has "won" then??

Hello, Cerasus!
I am a relative newcomer to watching BGT...
Normally I do not enjoy the programme, as I have no patience with the rubbish acts that fill much of the earlier episodes.
But I had thought that this "Champion of Champions" competition might well be worth watching!
But I am not impressed so far by the format and the apparent "judging"!
It is all a "con"!

Hello, Elle!
Yes, it was fine at Pine Cone with the young ones.
It was one of the waitresses last shift, as she is off to study music in London.
Now, about BGT.
Many TV shows are recorded in batches and then shown once a week.
The papers say whoever won the show showed off the prize and the BGT bosses were very annoyed.
I don't think the show is rigged, but it is not very professionally run.
Last night the crowd were screaming for David Walliams to press the golden buzzer for the first act.
There were eight acts still to come!
Maybe they should keep the buzzer until all acts have performed?
I don't know who has won, no.
The ordinary BGT shows are fine, but the Champions show is awash with poorish acts getting to the final.
