Hello, Elle!
I thought you would have managed!
15 is Caparison. Con/swindle around "a Paris".
6D I am not sure of.
I can not see where the "MO" comes from, too.
And I am no help with "right on", too
I suppose it means "fashionably liberal" but it is too clever for me!

Update, Elle!
I have went to Times on-line and, guess what?
There are two words missing from the clue in the paper edition.
On-line, the clue reads,
"Mother and girl finding way round doctor and chief steward".
A blunder by someone who entered the puzzle in the paper edition.

Update 2!
Had a look in Collins online for "right-on".
This is one definition.
"You can describe someone as 'right-on' if they have liberal or left wing ideas, especially if you disagree with them, or want to make fun of them".

Hi, Rusty!
"Caparison" is a new word for me!
I could not see the parsing for that.
Regarding 6d...I am wondering whether there is something missing from the clue?
I got my crosswords as usual from John, who sends me screen shots.
So his clues must have come from the online version of the crossword.
Did you do your crossword online today.....or from your newspaper?
Is there any way of your checking to see if there is a variation in the clue for 6d?
There must be some reason to account for "MO".
I don't know what "right-on" means?
I thought that had to be the answer from the parsing, but am at a loss to understand the terminology.
I might catch up with "Casualty"...at least I shall probably understand that!

Hello, Elle!
Posts crossed!
Explanations given above.
I did the paper version, but the on-line version could have been wrong to begin with, then corrected during the day?
Must have been wrong if John sent you the faulty clue.
Hope this is helpful?

Hi, Rusty!
Oops! Yes, our posts crossed...….
We had the same idea at the same time!
Missing words!
Thanks for sorting it out.
At least we can sit back and relax now , knowing that there is an explanation for "MO"!
Thanks for the update on "Right-on".
A weird expression.

Hello, Elle!
The Times on-line is updated twice each day.
At noon and at 5 p.m.
I imagine the clue was corrected during an update.
I have heard "right-on" used, but did not really know what it meant.
Now, "caparison" is bugging me.
The word "caparison" is used in a First World War poem, but I can not think which!
I tried Googling, but Google thinks I mean "comparison", which is less than helpful!

Hi, Rusty!
I looked up "caparison" in Collins......and it gives "a decorated covering for a horse, especially a warhorse".
Now Michael Morpurgo wrote "Warhorse", and I think he also wrote some poetic prose.
It's a bit of a long shot, but do you think this could be where you had read the word "caparison"?

Hello, Elle!
No, Elle, it was not Michael Morpurgo.
I am wondering if maybe it was "orisons" that was in the poem?
I could be wrong about "caparisons".
Not to worry!

Hi, Rusty!
I think "orisons" means "prayers".
That would be even harder to track down in a WW1 poem than the horse covering!
Maybe you will come across that particular poem again sometime.
Well…..I want to go out for an earlier than usual walk tomorrow, as afterwards, I am going to have my hair cut ...and then do some shopping.
So I think it's time for bed now.....
