Here's a short video of Kseniya.
There are a lot of her videos on YouTube.

Hi, Rusty!
I am very sorry for the long delay in replying......
I have been having some trouble with my computer this evening.
I keep getting messages displayed on the screen telling me that whatever I am trying to do is not working..... try again later.
It has been very frustrating,,, even switching off the computer for while did not alleviate the situation.
However eventually - for now at least - all seems to be fully functioning again!
Thank you for the clip of Kseniya.
As usual, her art work is completely entrancing!
I can see her winning the BGT Champions competition.
And fully deserving the title!

Good morning, Elle!
Seems a bit cloudy and wet outside.
I was thinking of going to cemetery but will see what the weather is like, later.
Computer problems are annoying, whatever causes them!
It was a nice clip of Kseniya, set to Vivaldi's "Spring"!
I can't think of a more deserving winner of "Champions" than Kseniya.
She came third in the American GT Champions, behind Shin Lim, a magician, and Darci Lynne, a ventriloquist.
Fingers crossed for her!

A Very Good morning to you, Rusty!
It is dull but dry here, with an early morning Autumnal chill in the air.
Good for walking though.
The cooler temperatures put a spring in my step! and a length to my stride!
Did your weather improve and did you go to the cemetery?
I have some letters to write...or more accurately emails to type...this morning.
I shall print out the crosswords .....and multi-task!
Luckily, the computer seems fine, so far, this morning.
But I shall need sustenance in the form of a strong coffee, first!

Hello, Elle!
Rainy here!
I'm just home from cemetery. Had the place to myself!
Tried to clean headstone but scrubbing brush was ineffective. (One of the ASDA girls told me baby wipes were good?)
So, I'll look on YouTube later today for help.
It is certainly cooler weather.
I had the heater on in my car!

Hi, Rusty!
We have a feeble sun now showing his face......
Yes, it is chilly...we had the heating on earlier for an hour.
And it is still fairly dark in the mornings now, when I get up about 6 am.
I hate the dark mornings!
I don't know how best you should clean the headstone , Rusty?
I remember when we talked about this previously, I had suggested vinegar......but Ros said "no" to this idea, as she thought it would damage the stone.
I cannot see Babywipes achieving much? maybe if the surface to be cleaned were marble and only needed a quick wipe over, then a baby wipe might just suffice.
But for granite, I rather think it would be useless.
Mild ammonia....or weak hydrogen peroxide solution?
Perhaps you could try a "patch" test?
Have you thought of asking your local undertakers, or stone masons?
Some one there might be able to advise you?

Hello, Elle!
I'll try YouTube or Amazon to see what can I find.
I agree about the baby wipes, but this lady said it worked fine on her headstone.
It is algae, (I think!) and moss starting to grow.
Maybe there is a magic spray solution out there.
I'll explore YouTube later today.
No rush!

Good afternoon, Rusty!
We have a marble commemorative slab embedded flat in the ground, on which we stand our flowers , plants etc., in the Crematorium.
This is easily kept clean with a damp cloth, on each visit, but we haven't had a problem with mould or algae, so I am not of much help.
If you cannot find suitable advice on Google, or YouTube, it might be worth following my suggestion to ask your local stone mason?
I have just been chatting with my elder daughter....
She is busy sewing name tapes on our eldest grandson's new school uniform!
His first day of Senior School is tomorrow!
A big step for him!
Right...the sun is shining... a big improvement on earlier...
So dog and I are away out for a walk!

Hi rusty
I've recently had some success in cleaning algae off paving stones using fairly dilute "Ecover" washing-up liquid in hot water, with a deck-brush.
"Ecover" is supposed to be more environmentally-friendly than other liquids.

Hello, Elle!
No sun here, steady rain!
This headstone was erected in 1953 and I think it is lichen and moss which is growing, not on the polished part, though.
The local monumental masons offer a clean and repair service, which I may consider.
Saw a great tip on Wikihow!
Get a few snails and put them on the stone and they eat whatever it is that's growing on the stone!
But, I'm out of snails at the minute!
Anyway, no rush, but I may buy a stone cleaner and try it on the reverse of the stone to see what happens, or if there is any stonemason at the cemetery next time, I'll ask what he thinks.

Hello, Chris,
Thank you for the tip.
I am a bit wary of scrubbing the stone too much.
I'll find out a bit more, before I do anything!
