Hello, Elle!
Yes, I posted a clip/s of The Sacred Riana.
She is scary (do not watch alone!).
Paul Potts is a fine singer who won the first ever BGT.
There will be acts who have not won, on, too.
Stavros Flatley did not win, but are scheduled to appear.
I wonder how that will turn out, as his little boy, Lagi, has grown up now?
Be great seeing Ashleigh again!
The series will last six weeks.

Good evening, Rusty!
Thank you for the clip of Paul Potts.
That was surprising!
No wonder he went on to win.
So we shall not be seeing purely all winners, but a selection of the best performers?
That sounds fine.
And what a young, and innocent -looking Amanda!
I hardly recognised her!
I do not know the Flatleys either..... but I suspect I shall be saying this for most of the show, as I am only a very recent viewer
And in any case, I have never watched any of other "Got Talent" shows.... only Britain's contribution.
I had Cod Mornay for dinner - very nice!

Hello, Elle!
I think Paul is a full time opera singer now.
But I did not watch the first two series, so he is pretty new to me.
Apparently there is a girl who auditioned when she was six, and she is coming back, all grown up!
Stavros Flatley were a Greek father and son comedy dance act.
Greek Londoners, if you take my meaning.
It was a take-off of Michael Flatley in Riverdance.
I thought they were great, and I remember Amanda being in kinks laughing at them.
Simon said they were his very favourite dance act!
Yes, Amanda has been there from the start.
Now, you won't like this, but Jules and Matisse are booked to appear.
Remember the woman and the dog, who "cheated", using another dog?
Still no word of Diversity being on!

Hi, Rusty!
Thank you for the clip......yes, father and son were very good!
And well appreciated by both judges and audience.
No, you are right......I do not approve......in fact, I am disgusted..... that Jules has been invited back!
I think she should have been stripped of both her winner's title - and the money!
It was a travesty!!
I hope the audience boos her!
I am surprised about Diversity, if they are not to be on the show?
I wonder if they are too busy?
But I would have thought that the added publicity would be good for them?
I am not watching BGT this evening, but recording it...
I am not in the mood for TV....I am reading my book,

Hello, Elle!
I liked Stavros Flatley!
I am not keen on Jules coming back at all.
I have watched tonight's show and I agree with the two acts going to the final.
I told several folk to watch one act in particular and have had several texts saying "how on earth did you know about her?".
So I am pleased with my selection that folk liked!
I am recording Millionaire!

Good morning, Rusty!
A much cooler, though fine sunny day!
An enjoyable early walk in the fresher atmosphere.
Now .....BGT!
I have now watched all that I recorded ,but I had to miss the last twenty minutes or so because the programme clashed with "Casualty" and I always record that.
So I didn't see Scary Riana, or Paul Potts....and I'm not sure who else I missed?
And of course, I missed the results, as given at the end of the programme.
From those acts I saw, I thought the sand artist, Kseniya Simona, by far and away the best ........
I agree with Amada that she well deserved the Golden Buzzer!
But what of the rest of the competitors?
I see on the News that the audience voted for Bello and Annaliese Nock?
So they will go forward into the next round, with the sand artist....or however it now works..
What happened about Paul Potts?
I didn't see him perform but thought him excellent from the previous video clip that you sent me.
Right, coffee and crossword time!

Good morning, Elle!
It is a fine morning here after our rain.
The Amsterdam folk are coming home today.
The visited Anne Frank's house yesterday.
Miss Simonova was far and away the most talented act on display.
I've read before that she finds these performances mentally and physically exhausting.
The Golden Buzzer act goes straight to the final.
The "special audience" chooses the other act to go to final.
They had three, in ascending order, Ashleigh and Sully, Boogie Storm (very average, I thought) and Bello and Annaliese.
I thought the Indian salsa dancers should have been in the top three, instead of Boogie Storm.
Paul Potts was OK, but I do not know what he sung.
An opera piece, but did not know it.
Millionaire was good, too.

Hi, Rusty!
I have read in the online papers that there was controversy over the voting on BGT?
And that the judges were shocked......
What happened?
It does not seem reasonable to have the attending audience voting for the competitors?
Surely the voting would then depend on how many of the contestant's family and friends (and general supporters) came to the show?
Or am I somehow getting hold of the wrong end of the stick?
The Everyman is a good puzzle today......clever clues with nothing (so far as I can see) to which anyone might take violent exception.
There is a homophone, though, which I do not think you will like....
( it involves an area of London)
And I certainly don't enunciate my words like that!
19a: As one who adores setters may be heard to say somewhere along the Thames (4,2,4)
I didn't record "Millionaire" as it clashed with "Casualty"!
What time will your son and daughter-in-law arrive home?
