Good morning, Rusty!
Warm and sunny again here ...but a reasonable temperature so far
I think our expected high is 23C, but with an ongoing light breeze.
I have been filling up the Hill's Hoist, as it should be a very good drying day!
Speaking of celebrities at Wimbledon...the cameramen often highlight them....
They always find Rod Laver and Billie Jean King!
Jackie Stewart (the racing driver) was there yesterday, plus a lot of folk that the BBC commentator seemed to know.......but I didn't !
I'm looking forward to today's tennis offerings!
But first...the crossword...
I never got around to finishing yesterday's puzzle!
How about you? Any special plans for today?

Good day, Elle!
Fine breezy day here!
Ideal weather for the Hill's Hoist!
I think the BBC commentator will get a word in his ear as to who the camera is lingering on?
I watched a bit earlier of Sue, Tracy, and Tim.
Tim always looks very well turned out, I've noticed.
I like Tim.
And Tracy looked great in her posh frock.
My puzzle is done.
I have no plans, but will head out for a dander later on.
And I plan to tune in to the golf later on for a wee while.
It's only a practice round but I have heard lots about the great course and I'd like to see it.
It's Lahinch, in County Clare, where the Irish Open starts tomorrow.
And I have Madison to cheer on, and young Coco is playing today.

Hi, Rusty!
Oh, the cameras always linger over the spectators ......I think comments about who is attending are expected!
I am watching Stan Wawrinka and Reilly Opelka play at the moment....on the Red Button.
Two sets to one for Wawrinka..... and the fourth set just starting......
You sound to have your day well organised!
You mention watching Cori/ "Coco" Gauff play.....did you realise that her match clashes with that of Madison Keys?
Both are scheduled to play at 4.15pm...... Coco on Court 2 and Madison on Court 3.
You may have to channel hop!
Novak is also playing at 4.15, but on Centre Court!
I hope to watch that ....I shall aim at going out about 2.30pm with the dog, so I shall be back in time!
Heather Watson should have started her match by now...I shall look for it, once this one has finished!
Yes, I have done (all bar two on which I am still puzzling) my crossword, too.
A fairly straightforward one today, I thought?
I liked it!

Hi Rusty
I've been to Lahinch - I may even have driven through the golf course!
I'll watch with interest to see if there's a road through it - there might be other courses there, of course.

Hello, Chris,
Just saw a small segment today.
Will see the course properly when the tournament starts tomorrow.
It is a proper links course and I much prefer those.

Hello, Elle!
No sign of Madison or Coco yet!
Unless I missed them.
I was watching a programme I recorded.
Was about the Highland Division being left behind after Dunkirk and eventually surrendering at St Valery.
I have several programmes recorded and am trying to get through them!

Good evening, Rusty!
No, you haven't missed either Coco or Madison!
Many of the matches are delayed, because prior matches overran their expectations!
Coco is now scheduled to start at 6.50, and Madison at 7.05.
Btw, there is already a "Coco" on the tennis scene...... Colleen Vandeweghe is already known as "CoCo" (albeit spelled slightly differently!)
I rushed home in time to watch Novak...... only to find his match was delayed too!
He has just started playing now!
Some disappointing results - for me, anyhow!
Feliciano Lopez has gone out , as has Kyle Edmunds!
But I did at least get to watch part of their matches, as they were showing when I arrived back.
Right...back to Novak...
I shall look out for Coco, when her match starts.....if it is showing on any of my options!

Good evening, Elle!
Well, Madison and Coco best hurry for I have a football match to watch....and golf tomorrow!
Though Sloane is first on court in the morning if this evenings' matches finish.
Lovely evening here with a nice breeze.
Lots of wing flapping at the loch from the chicks!
Maybe getting close to a fledging!

Hi, Rusty!
Not surprisingly, Novak won...but the match was very entertaining and Denis Kudla, although the loser, took it in very good part.
There was a good atmosphere.....and the crowd loved it!
Did you find your missing tennis matches?
Madison Keys has lost the first set ...….
Coco is shortly to play, on Court Number One, now......
The roof has already been closed, so that, come what may, the match can conclude tonight.
I hope you manage to see at least some of it, along with your football!
I must look in on Lassie and family...I haven't done so today.
