Chris, as I remember, the Spanish team, ONCE, had yellow jerseys. Probably a lot more.
They would only cause confusion in a stage race with a yellow jersey in it.
I have another wee bell going off.
I vaguely remember ONCE changing to pink for some race?

I've checked. Tinkoff-Saxo had a predominantly yellow top this year. It doesn't seem as yellow here

as it did on TV.

He wore green for most of the tour, and won the competition.

Evening, Rusty!
We have had a most enjoyable day!
Yes, the family drove down. Our daughter will stay until Friday, when she has to return home to keep a hospital appointment that afternoon, but the boys will stay with us until next Tuesday, when she will return to collect them.
(This isn't the "Whats App" daughter! that is my younger daughter; the one who lives down here)
The boys had barely got through the door before they were rushing to get out the board games and setting up for Ludo! We have played for hours - Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, Matching Pairs (a memory game ) Sorry, Snap..... you name it, we have played it!
All great fun!
Tomorrow we are planning a trip out!
Have you had a good day?

Hello, Elle!
You seem to have had a good day! Well done!
I know how to play Snap, thank you.
We are not all backward out in the sticks, you know, Elle!
So, you will have the map out planning tomorrow's jaunt. Why not visit Sixpenny Handley?
Is it not too far off?
I have had a quiet day. No paper.
No crossword.
I am very pleased with my chromebook.
Miss L Plate has did/done (I never know which it is!) a U-turn.
She has decided to grace the Uni with her presence.
Chambers has it that "hoover" is acceptable as a verb meaning vacuuming.
Hope the boys and you all have a nice day at Sixpenny Handley tomorrow.
I will be interested to hear all about it!

Hey, Rusty!
No paper nor crossword? Why is that? Have you had more golf to watch ?
Sixpenny Handley? I've never heard of it? Does such a place really exist - or are you having me on?
We are planning to go up to London tomorrow to meet up with our younger daughter for lunch. She works near St. Katherine's Docks, which is right besides the Tower of London.
We will need to get a mainline train, then the tube, so the boys will love all that.
St. Katherine's Docks is a lovely place right by the river ( I rather think the word 'docks' will have given that away!) and younger daughter has booked a table for lunch at a nearby restaurant there - so should be good fun for the boys.
There are lots of activities for children over on Southbank so will cross the river afterwards to take a look.
It will also be nice for the girls to meet up as they haven't seen each other for a while now that elder daughter lives further away.
Is this a change of plan then for Miss L-Plate? what will she be studying at the university?
So we no longer need to 'dyson' or 'tesco', we can officially 'hoover'?

Elle, having you on? Me?
Gracious!
The Times was not delivered to my ASDA today, so I did without.
You don't know Sixpenny Handley?
Well I never!
It is one of my favourites of English place names.
So is West Wittering.
Or is it, We's Twittering?
There are some wonderful place names! You should browse an atlas. There is a tiny place in Perthshire called Dull, and if my memory serves me well it is twinned with Boring, Oregon.
Yes, I am up on "docks", Elle.
I live on a river. An old whaling port, in fact.
Now, I have heard of St Katherine's Dock. And how did she get involved? Is it known for something?
There is St Catherine of Siena, too.
So, you have a full day.
God knows what the young one will be studying!
A mystery!
Yes, you and your Dyson can hoover away according to Chambers. I do not know what Anne Bradford makes of it though!

There's a village in Essex called Ugley. Yes, it does have an Ugley Women's Institute!
