Ashby-de-la-Zouch?
Up here, in Glendevon, there are two neighbouring villages. Pool of Muckhart and Yetts o' Muckhart.
A yett is an old word for a gate.
In the Borders there is Kirk Yetholm.
Kirk being church, yet/t being gate, unsure of holm, though holm is in many place names.
Anyway, off out for a wee while!

Goodness, Chris!
Exploring an atlas on a rainy afternoon takes a bit of beating!
I vaguely remember off the A1 in the Newcastle Southish area seeing a signpost to "Something"-next-to-the-Sea.
I have forgotten what the "something" was.
I thought that "next-to-the Sea" was a very quaint name. Sounded to me like somewhere Postman Pat would go his holidays to!
