Good evening, Rusty!
It was beautiful out - a lovely sunny day!
I am home now for the evening.
I have just been reading about "email clients", as you suggested.
Yes, I am (kind of) understanding what you are getting at......but I wouldn't know which way to turn....!
I find it overwhelming!
How is your cycling going?
And the football?

Hello, Elle!
Rain here, now!
Basically, if you get an email client, say, like mine, BlueMail, all I do is enter the email address/es and it collects and sends the emails for you.
BlueMail is quite straightforward.
I prefer it to BT email.
But, speak to your daughter about it.
I downloaded several email clients.
Tried them, then uninstalled them, except for BlueMail.
Cycling was very good.
In the mountains again today.
I only watched a little bit of the football.

Hi, Rusty!
It is a lovely evening here.....
Yes. I think I see!
My problem with Outlook though (since yesterday) is not actually the receiving or sending of emails - that aspect seems to be working fine - but the setup surrounding that?
The folders such as Inbox, Drafts, Sent , Deleted, etcetera?
And the ones I myself have created, such as the "Photographs" folder that I mentioned earlier.
These are now either difficult to access or have disappeared, and in most cases what remain have all been emptied.......
Where are the contents?
I shall bear everything in mind that you most kindly have said, and explained....at least I now have a much better idea of what is going on, and how the systems work.
And yes, I will consult my daughter, as you suggest, when she returns home!
I do wish that I had a better understanding of these subjects!
I meant to ask earlier.....have you caught up with your son and heard first hand news of his holiday?

Hello, Elle!
Rain here!
I am afraid I can't help any more with your Outlook, Elle.
I have no experience of the system.
If System Restore can't fix it, I simply don't know.
Possibly if you uninstalled Outlook, then re-installed it, things might come back to normal, but may be too risky?
Maybe best to get your daughter involved, I think.
My son is coming to see me tomorrow sometime, and my grandson will visit on Monday.

Hi, Rusty!
I hope your rain doesn't hit here!
I have no personal interest in the event, but it would be a shame were it to rain for the Motor Racing at Crystal Palace tomorrow.
A lot of effort has gone into the organisation thereof, and I think the tickets to attend were probably expensive.
We shall be avoiding the park during the next two days!
That will be nice for you with your son coming to visit tomorrow. and your grandson on Monday.
Does your grandson now live much nearer to you since his house move?

Hello, Elle!
Our forecast is heavy rain until Monday night!
My grandson lives a 7 minute drive away now, which is nearer..
The walk is shorter but takes longer and is uphill every step of the way, so I shall be driving there, to visit.
I finished the Jumbo.
Never again!
It is a long slog!

Hi, Rusty!
Very well done on doing the Jumbo Cryptic!
I sometimes attempt it, but find there is just too much of it!
But I couldn't have done the puzzle this week, even had I had the time or inclination......because John only sent me the "Down" clues!
I don't quite know what happened there!
So does your grandson now live up the same hill as his dad, then?
That will be nice for them, if so.

Good morning, Elle.
Steady rain here!
For me, the Jumbo would be fine occasionally, but I found it an arduous task yesterday.
I know it is very popular with lots of folk, though.
I'll stay true to my Times puzzle, I think!
My grandson lives close to his father's house now.
Remember Roland Garros today!
ITV4 at 9.30 a.m. until 8.30 p.m.
I do not know who is playing, though, or if they have Red Button to choose which match to watch.

Good morning, Rusty!
It is a lovely day here...but I have not been further than the garden as yet.
I was up later than usual this morning, so have rewritten the day's schedule!
We shall go walking for longer and further afield, but not until about 1 pm.
One walk today, instead of two!
Thank you for reminding me about Roland Garros........ it had slipped my mind.
I shall dip and delve as the day progresses!
Meanwhile the Everyman awaits me!
What time is your son avisiting?
