Hi, Rusty!
I think Facetime is similar to Skype?
It is good that your son and his wife can talk to the girls each day.
I think that Gran is spoiling the girls rotten!
(What a peculiar expression! I wonder from whence it came?)
It is most kind of her, though.
I cannot see me emulating that.....I am all for self- survival!
Right... a hot drink...and I shall catch up on "15 to 1" before I go to bed!

Good morning, Elle!
A fine day here!
I am heading out soon, I have a couple of things to do this morning.
I have not used Skype so I do not know if it is like Facetime, or not.
I've heard the young ones mention Facetime before, but not Skype.
Gran is great.
The girls manage fine on their own but Gran likes to "look after" them when she gets the chance.
I approve!

Good morning, Rusty!
It is a lovely day here, too!
It was already warm at 7.45 am when I went out for my walk.
You were out and about early today......I hope you are managing to get all your tasks done?
I have some paperwork to sort out... and a few emails to write..... and phone calls to make......but apart from that, the day is my own!
Coffee first though.......

Good afternoon, Elle!
It's been a fine dry day here, but cloudy.
I have finished what I was at, yes.
Just had my tea, macaroni and cheese!
And finished my puzzle.
I found it hardish today, with several new words, to me.
I liked 1d a lot!

Hi, Rusty!
You have had a busy day.
I hope all went well with whatever you had to accomplish?
We ended up back at the vets.
The cat has not been eating for the last three days, and the vet decided she wanted to see him again.
We have not long been home.
The cat seems to be somewhat of an enigma......and no one can decide on the root of the problem.
He has been given additional medication, and we have brought him home with us "to see how he goes"!
I can envisage a worrying sleepless night...for us..... if not for the cat!
Oh dear! I do hope he will be all right.......

Good evening, Elle!
Yes, I accomplished my tasks and that's fine!
That's a pity your cat is not picking up as he should.
It will be a worry for you, indeed.
Let's hope the extra medication helps him.

There is a TV documentary on BBC Alba next week about Orinoco the Osprey.
Orinoco hatched in Canada and is about to make his first migration to Colombia.
Looks quite good?

Good evening, Rusty!
Oh dear, what an evening!
I am sorry for the delay in replying.
This additional medication for the cat is supposed to stimulate his appetite.....
A known side effect, however, is what is referred to as "increased vocalisation".
I am assuming that this is okay, as it seems to be potentially expected, but, dearie me, it is very unnerving!
The cat is stalking about yowling!
No sign yet of his eating.......I shall phone the vet if I judge it necessary......

I have watched the video clip that you sent.....
Wow!
I think the programme should be fantastic!

Hello, Elle!
Sounds a bit odd, the cat yowling!
But, I know little about cats, and less about their ailments.
Let's hope he settles down, though.
Yes, the documentary looks good.
I am looking forward to it.
There are lots of little gems on BBC Alba, but they are in Gaelic, naturally enough.
Did you know ITV4 are showing Roland Garros next week?
Eurosport are showing the qualifying matches just now, but I have not watched any.
I'll wait until the tournament proper starts.

Hi, Rusty!
I should have been more worried, had I not discovered that the excessive miaowing is a side effect of the medication.
But his yells are positively blood curdling!
Let's hope the tablet at least has the desired effect of making him eat!
I did not realise that Roland Garros starts next week.
Thank you for telling me that it is being shown on ITV4....
I shall look out for that when I get next week's TV guide and mark it off !
At last some sport for me to watch!

Good morning, Elle!
Fine day here, but a bit cooler!
How is your cat this morning?
The qualifiers for Roland Garros are on EuroSport this week, but from Sunday the championship proper is live on ITV4.
So you'll have to plan your day around that!

Hello, Malone, and welcome back to the forum!
