Hi, Rusty!
Ok, one last History lesson before I go to bed!
St. James' Park is named after St. James the Less. This James (the Less) was the son of Alphaeus, as opposed to James (the Greater), the son of Zebedee. Both were apostles of Jesus.
The St. James area was named after a leper hospital dedicated to St. James the Less.
There is a near continuous link of parks, starting near Victoria and going on to South Kensington.
In order, you have St. James' Park, Green Park, Hyde Park, followed by Kensington Gardens. It is possible to walk through one into the other virtually all the way. It's an attractive and interesting walk.
St. James' Park ( about 60 acres) is in the City of Westminster, and is the oldest of London's Royal parks.
It includes The Mall and Horse Guards Parade. Trooping the Colour takes place there.
The Park is surrounded by Buckingham Palace, Clarence House, St James' Palace and Westminster.
Try to watch the cycle race there if you can - hopefully, you will be able to see something of the Park itself - it's a beautiful place.
(Does Jazzy know she's expected to provide pom-poms for the race in Surrey?)
Well, since you are no longer going to provide any midnight entertainment ( from "Whats app) I am going to bed.....Night!
