That was not the only King Eleanor was married to! Originally she married Louis V11 of France, by whom she had 2 daughters she had to leave there after the marriage was declared consanguinous (actually no sons was the problem). Not got time to check if Louis became king but he wouldn't have had a regnal number if he wasn't.
Thanks for that, elle

Hello Elle, Rusty
and Hello Ros!

Just a note - Louis VII was king of France from 1137 till 1180 - so a
fairly long reign for those days!

It is snowing hard here and has been for the last hour or so.
Twirling wind as well, which makes it feel like minus 5C out!
Cats inside of course!

How is it your end?

Good afternoon, Pigale!
Poor you with the snow!
Hope it does not last.
Very frosty here, but no snow yet.
We'll get our share eventually, though!
Be careful if you venture out in it, Pigale.
Very easy to slip and fall in the snow!

Good afternoon, Rusty!
Oops! I am sorry, obviously I misremembered Ms Collins' name!
Thank you very much for the Highlights from Rafa's match.
It shall be my teatime treat!
Now, Rusty, can you help me here, please .......?
My husband ordered a "used" book from Amazon - a (very large) rarely available Medical Journal that he wanted.
He ordered Volume One - already possessing Volume Two - but the wrong book has been sent.
A second Volume Two has been dispatched in error.
Do we contact Amazon? Or the supplier of the book?
This is a massive volume...extremely heavy (it makes our Collins Dictionary seem a lightweight!)
It would be very expensive to pay p&p to send it back.
And he has paid nearly £40 for it, even as secondhand,
So we do need to sort this out.
I have never needed to return a used book before, so do not know the "drill"?
I thought you might know the procedure?

Hello, Pigale!
No snow, no wind here...I'll add "as yet", so as not to tempt providence!.
Instead, it is beautiful with bright sunshine and a blue sky,,...but very, very cold, and still extremely icy underfoot.
One or two folk nearly experienced falls this morning in the park......
I was very wary where I put my feet!
Be careful if you do venture out.

Elle, Rusty, yes, I'll be careful - problem is that I do have an appointment with 'new" GP tomorrow afternoon, and we are supposed
to have more snow overnight - not much though, and my friend will
walk with me. We'll see!

The garden looks beautiful though! I am daft, but I love snow!!!

Hello, Elle!
I was but teasing about Miss Collins' name!
I know you like Rafa, hence the clip!
Now, your husband's book.
I have not needed to return anything, but....
If your husband goes to his Amazon account, then "Orders", click on the item. There will be some headings on the right-hand side,
choose " return item" and there should be a drop down menu with reasons for returning.
"Wrong item sent" will be one of them.
Select that and proceed from there.
That's the best I can offer, I'm afraid, but I hope your husband has a satisfactory conclusion to this problem.
He has bought the book via Amazon, and, to me, that should be his point of contact.
I have always found Amazon to be very helpful.

Hi, Rusty!
Okay.....I went through Amazon first, and was instructed by them to contact the book's supplier first of all, by sending in a "Request Return" form .
If the supplier does not deal satisfactorily with this, within the given number of days, then I am to re-contact Amazon and they will then sort it out.
So...I have duly filled out said form and dispatched it.
We shall now wait and see what happens.
Thank you for your help!
I am now going to watch Rafa!

Hello, Elle!
Amazon's response seems to be perfectly normal.
The supplier is given a set time to sort the matter out, and if not, Amazon will get involved.
eBay works the same way.
I do not think it should cost your husband any money to return the book, as he was supplied with a "wrong item".
Is there a "returns label" with the book?
I know that eBay sometimes include a label.
Or, they may send one for you to print off.
I think your husband's money is perfectly safe and will be returned if no book available.

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, all sounds good!
According to the official blurb, if the supplier deems my "Return Request" to be reasonable, then I will be sent a Returns label to print out.
Presumably the money is refunded once they have the book back in their possession.
I have asked if it be possible to get the correct volume, in due course .......but the money back would be something!
Thanks again for your assistance!
