That's the lad that put out Andy Murray.
And, yes, I shall support Madison, and I was going to support Naomi Osaka, but I have watched her in earlier rounds throwing her racket on the ground several times, in a temper.
So, it will just be Madison Keys I support, and I hope I am not a jinx!
Madison plays Elina Svitolina, who I know nothing about.

I am sorry (for her sake and yours!) that Madison Keys lost her match to Elina Svitolina.
I hear that Angelique Kerber went out in two straight sets to her opponent, and Simona Halep has just lost to Serena Williams.
Karolina Pliskova, Naomi Osaka and Petra Kvitova are still in.
Do you not fancy one of those to support?

I have had another visit from the "potential" lady next door!
Remember her.....the mother of the new owner?
She brought me some chocolates and stayed for a chat.
She tells me that her son has run out of money, and that is why the house has currently been abandoned........
So we, and the other neighbours, are still waiting to find out whether plans for the flat conversions, and extensions, will go ahead?
Yes, I agree ...temper tantrums, including racquet abuse and bad language, are not to be tolerated on court.
I think even greater penalties are called for when this occurs....and should be enforced no matter who is playing.
I stop supporting a player if I see this happening.
(Both spellings of racquet/ racket are correct)

I am thinking that maybe the buyer of next door was simply over ambitious and made exotic plans , without realising how expensive a project it would be?
But whether he will raise the money to carry on with his conversion plans....or resell the house as it is - he has completely gutted it, so it is in rather a mess - who knows?
We are all keeping an eye on the situation......
