Hello, Elle,
Fine day here.
A Team GB/Sky boffin would make a case for why they sacked Scott Gardner, Victoria's husband.
Would be a complete load of nonsense, of course.
She deserved support from Team GB, not pillorying (is that a word?).
She was World Champion 9 times. Had Olympic gold medals from Beijing and London. Surely that tells the world she knew what she was doing and did not need the say so from Team GB to fall in love or not?
Yes, Elle, she was delighted to get away from bike racing. She has a contract with Betfair to ride in the Foxhunters Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March.
I hope she gets round safely. It is a very competitive race.
Anyway, I am looking forward to a good performance by Lizzie today!
Froome has done all the hard work, let us hope he reaches Paris safely.

Hi, Rusty!
You are obviously luckier with your weather than are we!
Shortly after I'd spoken to you earlier, the skies darkened and the rain fell! and how! It is bouncing off the ground! the Athletics at the Olympic stadium will be awash if this continues! A repeat of Friday evening.
We have yet to go out with the dog..... hopefully it will slacken off a bit but my time slot is narrowing..... must be back for 2 o'clock!
I'll give it another half hour, then we'll go regardless. Get out the raincoat and wellies!
What previous experience has Victoria had in riding? I now she debuted in a race recently, but presumably she has been an accomplished rider for some time? Was it always a second string to her bow?

Elle, our weather is quite pleasant.
Lots of white clouds, blue sky, and a strong breeze from the North Sea. Great to be alive, o!
I cannot find your athletics in my TV schedules?
Even on Red Button.
You will just have to cheer on Lizzie!
i think horse riding is new to Victoria.
She has been in bike racing since her schooldays.
I have a photo of her, aged nine, on a racing bike!
She has been getting advice and tips from AP McCoy and you cannot get better than that!
She has a twin brother, too.
She is 34 now, time she had wee ones at her knee, in my humble opinion!

Well, Rusty, I don't know......according to my (paper) TV guide, the Athletics is showing on Channel 4 at 2 o'clock - this is also borne out on the electronic guide on the TV itself? so who knows....?
I shall be here to watch it if it's there! otherwise, I'll watch Lizzie!!!!
Juts off out now - the one good thing about the rain is it means we can go to the nearest park without fear of infiltration by picknickers!
The dog is partial to a good picnic! ( actually, I malign her - she wouldn't touch / take anything. she just sits there hoping that someone will feed her!)
I'm not sure if a canoe wouldn't be more appropriate than the weliies!
Enjoy your viewing ....talk later.....

Such a well-behaved dog you have Elle
My labrador once rushed straight through a group of picnickers, grabbing most of a cut pizza and a few sausage rolls, before running out the other side.

I did offer to pay for their food, but they were good-hearted and actually thought it was very funny!

Elle, my TV advertises the Anniversary Games for Paralympic athletes on C4.
Is that what you want?
