Hello Jigjag,

I don't know how you can cope with 4 puzzles in one go! You must
have a special room just for puzzles - they do take space, even the
500 pieces!

I have never used anyone else but Planet Puzzles, and what I like
is that they do renew their stock and always have new puzzles on
offer. The only problem is that if you only order one or two
cheap ones, the delivery cost is rather high in comparison with the
price of the puzzle itself.

I did a lot of 3D too, including Big Ben, Notre Dame and a few
others - very interesting and novel.

Hi, Rusty!
That is interesting about the central tick...I was not aware of how / where I was placing mine!
I shall have to have a little 'play'.....
I am going to send this and try to place my tick exactly in the middle.......and see if I am requested to count gorillas......or submarines.....

Apparently the 'one minute before you can send another post' rule
still applies.

I failed to place the tick correctly on my last post and was asked
to 'please place tick correctly' or words to that effect, did so and
tried to send post again, and was then told that I could not send
it because a minute had not elapsed.............

Update, Rusty!
Follow on from my last post.....
No.... that didn't work.
I very carefully ticked the centre of the box and was allowed to go through unaccosted!
The sun is still shining here...it really is a glorious day!
I am going to organise soup and a roll for our lunch......
And then we shall go out for a walk.
ATP tennis final at 6pm on BBC2 if you are interested?
Right, I shall now try an "askew" tick, when I send this!

Hello, Elle!
If it is microscopically off centre it maybe won't work?
Just an article I read on-line, it could be nonsense.
The Internet is not exactly Encyclopedia Britannica!
It is cold here.
I have made lentil, carrot, and bacon soup!
I am planning to watch the curling from Estonia, later.
Scotland v Sweden.
Eve Muirhead is making a welcome return after her hip operation.
The Swedes are very good, though!
I think that will be enought TV for me for the day.
And there is a documentary on Maureen O'Hara, tomorrow, on Sky Arts channel.

Hi, Rusty!
Hi, Rusty!
I am home again now!
It was glorious out.
We walked through the woods, and over the fields.....a trifle poggy, but we were booted up!
Now, I tried putting the cursor in the top L- hand corner of the box when I clicked on it.... but the tick still appeared in the middle, and I wasn't asked for further verification.
It is a mystery!
I hope you enjoy the curling ...is this Eve Muirhead's first competition since her hip operation?
I am planning to watch the Novak v. Anderson match later (providing my cousin does not phone in the middle of it!)
You will be looking forward to seeing one of your favourites on Sky tomorrow!!

Qops!
A double salutation.......the wording had apparently disappeared, so I typed it again!

Hello, Elle!
It's a great day here, but cold.
It is Eve's first major competition since her surgery in the Spring.
She had the same hip damage as Andy Murray had, and arthritis, too.
She has been in pain for several years.
I think she has a new lead in her team.
Anna Sloan has left or retired, but I'm not sure which.
Eve writes a column in my local paper every week.
She is an excellent golfer, too.
Hope you like the tennis!
