It looks as though the new system is stopping folk from coming on the forum and asking for help with their crosswords?

Well the new system is a blooming scutter (unless you are on Chrome) but I am sure Ash and Norah are doing their best to get rid of spammers.
I tried another couple of browsers earlier but was still counting motor bikes etc!
We shall have to be patient for a wee while I think!
I was counting tractors, and palm trees, earlier!
I think there is a Dundee connection to Mary Shelly?
I'll investigate later!

Cold this morning! but dry and bright.

I fail to see how all this new system is going to stop spammers - in the
long run anyway. I am sure the spam creators will soon find a way
to by-pass this barrier! and probably come back with a revenge!
Sorry Norah and Ash, and I hope I am wrong, but those spammers
are clever people!

It sounds as though my weather is similar to yours - a beautiful day, but cold.
I am glad that you are feeling a bit better....but sorry you are bored!
Do you do jigsaw puzzles? That might occupy you?
I quite like doing them, but am not very good at it!
I probably do not have enough patience!
It looks rather as though this new method of sending a post might be stopping ordinary folk from participating in the forum.....but not the spammers!

That last post had me counting first tractors , then buses in yet another picture.

I do enjoy jigsaw puzzles but do not have the patience for more
than 500 pieces anymore - The subject matter is all important to hold
my interest!
Problem at present though; it hurts my back! I don't seem to be able to
do them sitting down and prefer to stand up and bend over the
table - not a good position at present!

Never mind, it'll soon be over I hope - this back situation is taking
a long long time to heal! Much too long!

Are you up to anything of interest this week-end? I know your daughter (who lives closest to you) is not coming to see you, but do you have
any sport to watch?

We had a nice time.
Miss O is heading to Perth now for the Christmas market and lights switch-on.
The folks at Pine Cone were saying they have 90,000 Christmas trees ready to deliver to B&Q and Homebase.
Plus all their local deliveries.
I am pleased they are busy.

I recall their being very expensive , though.
There is tennis to watch today and tomorrow .... it has actually been on all the week, but I have never had the opportunity to see attemptinbgit..

I have a 1,000 pieces jigsaw awaiting my attention, but it portrays a frighteningly busy scene, and it is in very small pieces!
I am sure it will defeat both my ability and my patience!
No, I don't think we are doing anything much this weekend......apart from walks, and reading!
And maybe attempting the jigsaw puzzle!
