Oh, no, not the author to blame!
I remember reading in one of James Michener's books (I forget which), he was telling what happens when he submitted a manuscript to his publisher (Random House).
It was edited and corrected nine times. 9!
And that was standard procedure, he said.
"Pricipal" should have been found on the first edit, you would think?
It is a blunder by someone, and not the author.
This is a paperback by Arrow Books, who are reasonably well known, I think?
"Notes from a Big Country" is good too.
The American publication was called "I'm A Stranger Here Myself".
Bryson wrote a book about Shakespeare, too, but I have not tried it.
I prefer his travel books.
I do not know "Now We Are Sixty".
