I am home again now.......
I actually got back about 5 pm., but my daughter phoned and we have been talking since then!
BB wanted to chat to me too!
Now the door.......perhaps I did not make it clear, but the door would no longer lock....
So it will need either a locksmith to replace the lock......or maybe they will need a complete replacement sliding door......
I think the latter option would be the safer?
It would be dangerous were it to come off its runner again.
But my son-in-law will deal with this on Monday.......he is still on school holidays, so has plenty of time to organise matters.
Tomorrow morning they are all coming over here to see us!
That will be great!

A locksmith would be the answer to the door.
Locksmiths will have had this problem many a time.
Or a good joiner.
It probably just needs fixing properly.

The door is metal framed and double-glazed, as is the rest of the porch.....
Very heavy.....
If they can afford the cost , the entire porch could probably do with being replaced, as it is old.

Yes, both Eilidh and Martyn Rooney were marvellous this evening!
Their relay team members put them in a good position......but boy, did the two of them work on that, improve it, and come home with the medals!
