A beginning to my day that I could well have done without!
But yes, all praise to Barclaycard Fraud Squad!
I am naturally mistrustful!
Perhaps it goes with being a pessimist?
As my vet always tells me..... she gives the worst possible scenario to her clients, then if the outlook is better than hoped for, everyone is happy and delighted!
I have finished the crossword - I thought it a good one today?
I learned a new word..."rowel".
I've got a few jobs to do now, before we go out in about an hour to the Groomers.
The car looks all iced up!
We haven't used it since Saturday.

Yes, a good puzzle today.
I have it in the back of my head that "rowels" can be used as spurs by riders on horses.
Not checked it though.
Miss ATW has arrived at Glasgow Airport for her flight to Dubai, then Singapore, then Oz.
I shall follow the flights on FlightAware.
Keep me out of mischief!

Somewhat less cold this morning, they say +5C, but it feels less

Had a look at the Loch site just now, and of course the repair has
not been done yet, (that is normal) but I notice that they have
been tweeting and sending a lot of messages; perhaps our moaning
about lack of info has prompted them to keep us better informed!

Hope Laddie waits just long enough for us to see him land! He is
a couple of days late on last year?

I had forgotten that Miss ATW was off to Australia today!
I hope there will be no delays in her flights because of the weather?

Yes, you are right! A "rowel" is a spiked revolving disc at the end of a spur.
And, yes, it can be used to urge on a horse.
But I only know that because I had to look it up!

Hey, we now have sunshine!
The day has done a complete about turn....the temperature has crept up to a bold 2C!
There is very little snow left on our lawn......and our street is more or less clear.
We popped home after dropping the dog at the Groomers, and doing some shopping.
We are now just about to go back to collect her.
She will be pleased to see us!
She likes Sue, but is not sold on the idea of being washed!
She likes mud better!
I'm thinking the flight to Adelaide should take about 20 hours or so?
I hate flying!

Your dog will be fine when she gets home!
I know the flight to Dubai takes over 7 hours.
No idea after that.
Now, to include Pigale and Jazzgirl!
I have what appears to be a good live picture from the loch, including sound.
Also, an osprey was spotted at Aberdour in Fife, this morning.
Aberdour is due South of our loch.
Could it be Laddie, I wonder?
