... and (11.04 ) a small boat just visible behind the top foliage, moved to the left causing wide ripples in the loch .
End of coffee break .... off to do some edge-trimming of flower beds

Hello, Elle!
My hospital is in a residential area.
Every street is packed solid with parked cars, mainly from hospital staff.
Anyway, the good news of the morning is....!
The first of the UK ospreys has just landed at Manton Bay, Rutland.
Can ours be far behind!!!

Hello Jazzgirl,
Very impressed by your "loch"!

The man with the cables is a video which stops at 23 seconds. Refreshing the screen just shows a repeat of the video

Hello Rusty and Elle!

Hope everything is OKay with you both!

I have a black screen at present with the usual message about
live stream being either down or ended - It could be because
they are doing some work around - We know the engineers are
coming today, don't we?

I don't know about you, but there is some snow forecast for Sunday
night! don't think it will stick nor last long, but it is somewhat
late in the season for another snowy episode!

Good afternoon, Pigale!
Hope you are well!
Yes, at long last they appear to have the engineers working on the webcam!
I suppose our nagging them, helped things along!
There is snow forecast for the weekend, but I do not think it is coming North as far as me!
There is still some snow in my ASDA carpark!

Update!
The rangers at the loch have posted on Twitter.
Saying that there are engineers working on the camera equipment, and that they are aware that ospreys are back in the country.
They apologise for the inconvenience and hope to have an update by the end of the day.

This should have been done weeks ago!

PS.
The Twitter name is @Loch of the Lowes, if anyone is interested.
Lots of info on it, and the news of the return of Maya, the first osprey to reach "home" in the UK.

Indeed Rusty, and even if weeks ago was not possible because
of the bad weather conditions, it should still have been done
months ago, before the bad weather spell! There were a lot of
decent days between New Year and now!

Still, we'll see tonight, but let's hope Laddie does not decide to
arrive today!

Hi, Rusty!
That is encouraging news about the Manton Bay osprey arriving safely!
(Rutland is not far from where my daughter's in-laws live)
Perhaps Laddie will be with us soon......although hopefully not today whilst the engineers are on the job.
I have finished the crossword.
I thought it a relatively easy one today?
What did you think?
"Tiffany" is a new word for me, although it was easy enough to get the answer from the clue.
And I couldn't parse 17d?
Otherwise, all "done and dusted".

Hello, Pigale!
Your mention of snow made me check our own local forecast.
Strangely enough, we too are predicted snow on Sunday!
It does say "light", so here's hoping it will be only a brief flurry!
I had hoped all that was behind us.
