Hi, Rusty!
Well, never mind.......I have heard of them now!
Later, I shall see if I can find the relevant channel...and get it to work!
Now more excitingly......
Did you see Eilidh Doyle win the Bronze Medal in the 400m?
She fought so bravely for it....
Well done, Eilidh!

Hello, Elle!
No, I missed Eilidh.
I'll catch her on YouTube.
I watched the women's Madison.
Best performance I have ever seen in any Madison, men or women, from Katie Archibald and Emily Nelson.
They were absolutely super!
Worthy gold medal winners.
Jack Carlin won silver in the men's sprint.
Just saw Laura win silver at Brum.
A great run from her, after a less than perfect week's preparation!

Hi, Rusty!
That is good that the Cycling went so well.
Yes, see if you can catch Eilidh on YouTube.
She did brilliantly , only very narrowly missing out on taking the Silver Medal.
The American Christian Coleman won the Gold in the 60m.
I was amused by the commentator remarking on how Christian's parents had said that they knew he would be fast.......because, as a child, he always ran away from the Hoover!
I am now envisaging parents all over the World chasing their child with a Vacuum cleaner ........in the hope of creating a Champion!
I now have the "The Voice " on ITV + 1 !

Malone...I have found ITV +1 - and yes, it is on 33.
Again...thank you!

Elle, glad you found ITV +1. I think it's quite a handy facility at times.

Hello, Elle!
Good teamwork, you and Malone!
Glad you found it, it makes recording/watching a bit easier.
Just saw Eilidh's very impressive run!
Very strong and looking good for the Gold Coast!

Good morning, Rusty!
I got up to a snow free morning!
The pavements and our road are now clear......
The sky is blue...and the sun is shining.
7C! A minor (comparative) heatwave!
Though apparently we are forecast several more hours of rain from midday.......
Never mind, it may remove the vestiges of snow from our high ground.
How are things up your way today?
Have you had any more snow?

Good morning, Elle!
Yes, plenty snow up here.
Would you like some sent down!
Maybe send some down on the "Night Train"!
Been snowing during the night but the good news is it should turn to rain from tomorrow.
Still snowing now, though. 1C outside.
Our main roads are fine, (my wee street is barely driveable) and the shops are getting deliveries.
We have had no power cuts, and like most of the country had some inconveniences, like food shortages for a day or so, so not too bad!
Haven't seen a postie all week though?
I think I shall stay home today!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, staying home sounds the best option!
Particularly as there are the Athletics to watch this afternoon!
Do you also have more Cycling?
We, however, have a dog who wants to go for a walk......
So we are away now to comply with her wishes!
We shall investigate the snow/ ice state of the park....
I'm hoping to beat the rain....the sun hasn't lasted very long...black clouds are looming......
Back in a couple of hours!

Hello, Elle!
Snow has stopped!
Yes, lots of cycling today.
The World Championships at Apeldoorn, hoping Elinor Barker does well in the points race.
And the first big Tour of this year starts, Paris-Nice.
And I hope to see some athletics.
I also have a shoe to repair, so a canny day ahead!

Hi, Rusty!
I am home again........
The walk was somewhat poggy underfoot, due to melting snow and ice.
Most of the snow, though, has cleared. and the rain is helping to disperse the rest!
We did not make it in time to avoid the downfall.
I don't know what type of shoe repair you are effecting?
But don't forget how wonderful Storm Sure Glue is for mending leaks!
Fantastic stuff!
I hope the Cycling is going well?
Another hour and a quarter before the start of the Athletics.......
I am looking forward to that.
Meanwhile, I have a crossword to do.......
