Hello Rusty,

You know, without meaning to complain all the time, our winter
has not been very healthy - Yes, it has been mild, but with a lot
of wind, rain or drizzle, fog, and very very few hours of sunshine.
I can count on the fingers of one hand the sunny days we have
had!
Yes, I am looking forward to cold temperatures with bright
sunshine - if they don't change their mind!

I have not looked at the Loch in ages!

Hello, Pigale!
The Loch was 80% covered in ice last week.
There are swans and ducks in residence just now.
I look in most days.
There is a squirrel-cam, too, and a feeder for the wild birds in non-stop use!

Hi, Rusty!
I am not sure whether you saw my previous post, as it crossed with the one sent by Pigale?
Anyway, I am away now to my bed......
Talk tomorrow.

Hello, Elle!
No, I missed your post!
Sorry!
See these senior moments!
It is positive that your husband managed down the stairs for a while.
That takes energy, which is at a premium when these bugs strike.
Yes, he must finish the course of anti-biotics.
Hope you pick up soon, too!
Your dog will enjoy the walk tomorrow, I'm sure!
I used to have a Nissan Almera (green) and I can see it on the Google photos of my street.
It must be a few years since I had it.
That's how I know Google are often filming in the streets.
It's a possibility it was them in your street today.

Good morning, Rusty!
It looks a lovely day - blue sky, bright sunshine and a very heavy frost.
I have duly dispatched the dog to the park with my friend.
She was very excited to go!
No lingering goodbye look over her shoulder!
She galloped off!
Yes, my husband was caught on Google camera in a photo of our street, some years back.
The surprising thing was that he was seen coming down the path of a friend's house........not our own!
He had obviously been visiting!
Right, I need a coffee whilst I wait for the dog's return........

Good morning, Elle!
A bit cloudy up here and not warm!
Your dog will have a good time, I'm sure.
A coffee and a sticky bun sounds the biz!
I've started the puzzle but put it away for now.
Heading up to PDSA charity shop with some "stuff".
See if they will do a deal.
My stuff for several teaspoons.
I am forever losing teaspoons!

Hi, Rusty!
Well, that's a novel idea to be sure, Rusty!
Bartering with the charity shop for an exchange of goods!
Will they really do that?
However, I am sure that what you are proffering will be of far greater value than a few teaspoons, so the PDSA staff will most likely think it a good deal!
I got a very effusive welcome from my dog on her return!
She had obviously enjoyed her outing, but was pleased to see me!
My friend told me that the film crew are back in the street?
Filming, she said, from an unmarked van?
"Curiouser and curiouser"?

Hello, Elle!
Yes, they are quite happy to do that, but they will not break up sets of cutlery.
I can understand that.
So if there are spare spoons or forks, they will do a deal.
I took them 7 books, two shirts, and a clock wanting a battery.
I bought a print of Loch Maree in a nice frame, and they threw in four teaspoons.
So everyone was pleased!
I am not sure if Google still use unmarked vans?
Usually cars with cameras fixed to the roof.
Could it be your local council up to something?

I know what you mean about teaspoons, rusty. Where do they all go?

Hello, Rosalind!
I think they go away with the forks!
I am always short of teaspoons and forks.
Maybe the doings of the little people?
