Hi, Rusty!
Yes, Cary Grant "hoofed" it very well!
( I always liked him - very dishy!)
But Ingrid Bergman did not look very pleased?
We used to have church "socials" - in my youth, back in Bolton! -
where enthusiasm counted for more than foot accuracy!
Did you realise that following that video clip came one explaining today's 15 x 15?
Mind you, I have already done the puzzle anyway!
Quite a straightforward one today?
All parsed as well!
I have been reading....I like this leisurely approach.....
I may now do the QC!

Hello, Elle!
No, I did not know the cryptic followed Cary Grant.
Yes, he was a handsome man!
Very early, surely, it is usually later in the day if/when the vlog is posted?
It is from YouTube and I suppose they "know" my previous searches?
So, it was Ingrid Bergman?
I wondered if it was Vivien Leigh.
I knew it was certainly not Maureen O'Hara!
I have finished my puzzle, too.
Yes, a good one today.

Hi, Rusty!
Pouring with rain here!
I have decided (for once) against a second walk!
A canoe might be of more use.......
The QC was easy, too, today!
Maybe the setters thought a simple approach would be in order after the Christmas/ NY festivities?
Yes, that was definitely Ingrid Bergman!
Vivien Leigh was in "Gone with the Wind", with Clark Gable.
It is a very long time since I saw that at the cinema!
I have read the book, too.
And speaking of Maureen O'Hara...have you ordered a DVD of "The Quiet Man"?
Did you find anything else that you fancied?

Ros, I rather think it was Clark Gable (not Cary Grant ) who notoriously had bad breath....?

Hello, Elle!
It is freezing outside, I see it on my car.
I have not ordered anything from Amazon, yet.
There is one about the Appalachian Trail that appeals to me.
I think I know where the cryptic came from that was on the link I sent you.
In YouTube, there is a section called "Subscriptions" and it had a tick indicating that I would get each cryptic as it appeared.
Anyways, I have unticked the box.
I am tempted to tick the box for Amira's latest stuff to appear.
What is the state of play with your EuroPlayer?
EuroSport is awash with live tennis tournaments just now.
From Doha, Brisbane, and Auckland.
BT Sport is covering tennis as well, just now.
Read that Jo Konta is going well and has beaten Madison Keys in her last match.

Hi, Rusty!
I have just checked on EuroSport Player.......
Yes, strangely, I do still have access to the website.
It look as though despite my cancelling any further subscription to them, they are allowing me the proffered extra time.
This presumably means that I can still watch the EuroSport channels until January 15th.
We shall see......
I hadn't realised that there is a lot of tennis tournaments in action at present?
Mind you, I haven't had much time over the last week or so to watch any sport.
Thanks for the update.......I'll keep a lookout on the site now, and see what's on offer.
I've just peeked outside and we still have rain.
There is no sign of winds or frost.
I hope your roads and pavements will not be too badly affected.
I gather Storm Eleanor is now on her way?

Hello, Elle!
No wind here, but my friends across the sea are getting 70 mph winds.
So, Eleanor is on schedule!
Yes, lots of tennis on, just now.
If you go BBC Website/ Sport/Tennis, you should get info on what is going on.
You may as well make use of the EuroPlayer while you have it!

the country, in which we here are included, are in orange alert for
tonight in particlar;
It is already blowing at around 75K/hr (around 45miles) and due
to reach over 95K and then over 100K around 4am.
I hope my neighbour has no more old trees likely to fall!

I sleep like a log so probably won't hear anything, but I am sure
the cats will be very close to me on the bed!

How are you both after the New Year's festivities?

Good evening, Pigale!
I am lucky, the winds are not coming my way!
There will be damage with the strong winds.
I had a very quiet time at New Year, not up too late!
How did your celebrations go, Pigale?

Rusty, I live alone with my two cats, I have no family left, never had
children, and my close friends live in England or Luxembourg (but they are British) -
all the friends I have here were busily involved with their family.

I had a very peaceful New Year's Eve surfing youtube!

But I used to stay up the whole night not too long ago! so, the
wheel turns and so it should be.
