Hi, Rusty!
Yes, I am feeling quite proud of myself!
Especially after yesterday's abasement!
Regarding 8d, I had thought that "familiar" was used to indicate a close relationship/ group between the "stars"....such as The Plough?
Yes, I've got "Mrs " sounds like "misses" for 27a.
I don' t know Molinari so have looked him up...but it seems that there are two of them, Francesco and Edoardo?
Neither photo much resembled Dean Martin to me!
But perhaps seeing the golfer "in action" may be different?
Which one did you mean?

Hello, Elle!
I meant the one in the yellow shirt!
Francesco?
I think "familiar" is not needed.
"Plough" is "stars", enough.
I treated myself today.
I had my dinner out!
Miss La Bamba does not need me to collect her!
Suits me, it can be hectic traffic around the hospital.

JG I loved the hippocrit's oath but still can't see "Theresa Green"! Took the dear doc a long time to marry the Jack Russell and the woman! I don't like JRs, one we had when I was a teenager was excructiatingly embarrassing, it used to try and mate with your leg and other innappropriate things, also used to kill chickens on walks.

Hi, Rusty!
In the pics I saw, neither Molinari wore a yellow shirt!
So my bit of research wasn't very helpful!
I like Dean Martin - a lovely singer ( but not Bing!)
Dinner out?
Great!
Where did you go?
I am just about to go and prepare tea for the children and their mum.
They should be here shortly.
But first...I have a crossword clue for you.......from the QC.
17a: Characters with picnic baskets for Cockney and son (10)
Is your son coming this evening?

Hello, Ros!
I don't know the programme.....
but could "Teresa Green" be "Trees are green?
Like "Isabel on a bicycle" (Is a bell on a bicycle?")
I may be way off beam here!

Ros, maybe Theresa Green's parents did not think of the comic consequences .. I did know someone with that name and she was teased a bit, and preferred to be known as Tess. I feel sure the scripwriters deliberately chose it or is it my silly sense of humour again ? ... Ida Down, Tania Hyde, Shirley Knott .....

Hello, Elle!
I liked Dean, too.
I detested Sinatra.
I had my dinner at a cafe next the fish shop.
Bacon black pudding and chips.
It was smashing!
I was alone so I sat beside the counter and had a natter with the staff.
Yes, my son will be here around 6.
Elle, I can not solve your clue.
I see the word "Cockney" and down tools I'm afraid.
The folk at the loch had a "moth hunting" night this week.
But their web cam is not showing anything.

Ros, further to my last post, I have been on Twitter and have discovered one previous patient was "Anita Bush". Look out for more comical names to come, as there as there is a name-game amongst the cast. They are often in stitches as other cast members do not know what name is going to be called out.
