Hello, Elle!
Your poor cat!
Hope he pulls through whatever is the matter with him.
Yes, a good idea to visit him.
Let him know he is not on his own.
Yes, have a chat with your vet.

Hello Elle!

I have just read your post about your cat's test results and am
really very sorry for you (and for the cat also!).

I truly it is an infection, in which case the antibiotics might be
the answer - but, (and I don't wish to worry you more than
you already must be), I must admit that the moment I hear
'pancreas', I don't like it. I very much you find some
improvement by tomorrow.
It is nice that there is 'visiting time for the patient'!

On another note, I don't know what your weather has been
like but we went up to 38C this afternoon! (rather humid
with it, so not nice) Two fans on plus ceiling fan!

Hello Rusty, hope you are OK?

Hello, Pigale!
Nice to hear from you!
I am just fine, thank you,
I trust you are the same?
It has been slightly chilly the last couple of says but it is a lovely evening now!

Hi, Rusty!
We are just home again.
Our cat was delighted to see us!
He looked a sorry sight lying at the back of the cage with his paw strapped up to prevent him taking the drip out......
But he brightened immediately on seeing us and got to his feet to try and welcome us.
That was good to see.
We spoke to the vet further to my telephone conversation with her.
I don't think he is in any immediate danger...but the outlook could be bad.
I studied the test results - a very high transaminase and somewhat high amylase indicate primarily a liver, and a possible pancreatic, problem.
We shall know more after the Xray and possible Ultrasound tomorrow.
I am to phone at 11am tomorrow.
Right...I must go and organise dinner......

Hello, Pigale!
Thank you very much for your concern
It is most kind of you.
Yes, we are very worried. Neither the vet nor us expected this outlook.
It was good we visited - the cat was very pleased to see us and even ate a bit of the food the nurse had put out for him.
Very warm and humid here, but nothing like as hot as you have it!

Good evening, Elle!
A worrying time for you.
You will have a better idea tomorrow, about what the future holds.
Yes, have your tea and sit down and relax.
I watched a wee bit of the tennis.
Miss Navratilova is dressed head to toe in black.
From her hat to her shoes.
Is this a statement?
Every other player I've seen has had very colourful outfits on.
And she was winning...

Oops, Elle!
I meant Miss Sharapova, not Martina!

Hi, Rusty!
It is difficult to relax.....every time the phone rings, I am on tenterhooks.......
But I have just answered it now, and have actually received some good news!
Our elderly friend and previous neighbour has had his heart operation.......that was his daughter on the phone to report that they have just been to see him at the hospital and all went well!
So I am feeling somewhat cheered now.....that is one worry dispensed with!
I wonder why Maria was dressed all in black?
If you are right in thinking it might be some sort of statement, I wonder what her message is??!!!
Still no advance with Eurosport Player!

Hello Elle!
A good night's sleep will help you.
Yes, good news about your neighbour!
Now, Maria has always been into fashion.
But this outfit (by Nike and a top designer) was a black hat, black dress, black socks, and black shoes.
I did not like it. Very Halloweeny.
Or like a penitent?
All the other women I seen, like Heather and Jo, for instance, were colourfully dressed.
Lots of light blue about.
Be interesting to see what she wears in the next round.
i do not know what the commentators were saying about her because I watch with the sound off.
Your EuroSport Player is a dead loss!
The US tennis is on both channels for two weeks.
That's what you are missing!
I am not getting a picture from the loch again.
As far as I know, Laddie and his daughter are both still there, though it was about this time last year that he left for Africa.

Sorry to herar about your cat, elle. We have two siblings; the male loves me, bu the female looks like she thinks I'm going to kicj her every time I see her (I never have!). Unfortunately the dog hates both of them.

Just catching up on the new Montalbano series (recorded). Oh dear, don't they all look old! Mimi is still a chocolate teapot; I don't understand how Salvo tolerates him; he was a pain even in "Young Montalbano".
