It was lovely out in the park!
Very wet underfoot - heavy dew?
But the lower temperature was most pleasant; early morning walks when the temp has already been in the twenties were too much!
I am planning a lazy day........waiting on speaking with the vet , checking on our neighbour's progress, and answering various email letters.
I shall first have coffee and look at the crossword!

I was at my garage getting service book updated and then at ASDA getting my small change converted into notes.
Had £73 in change!
The weather is great here.
Still no picture from the loch!

I have a picture from the loch; no birds though. I haven't looked for a while - have they all moved on?

I was two days without one.
Laddie and daughter were still there on Monday.
It was a year ago yesterday that Laddie left on migration.
He is last to go.
He stays to feed the chick until she leaves for Africa.

I have done my crossword!
I really like today's puzzle!
I appreciated clues 6a, 10a and 11a - they especially appealed to me!
Overall, I thought there were some very clever clues, but all workoutable!
(Is there such a word?)
I didn't know though that one could spell "terrain" as "terrane".
And I am wondering in 13a: Recurrent spot of bother (2-2) for which I have "to-do", why "recurrent"?
Otherwise , all are parsed to my satisfaction!

Elle, for 13 A, I think Dot is the 'spot' and 'recurrent' reverses it (then O for 'of').

I did wonder about that, but, in view of the cleverness of some of the other clues, I dismissed it as definitely being below par.
I thought there be some inspirational answer that I was missing!
