Hello, Elle!
I have not heard that my son is not visiting me, anyway.
Should be here at 6.
Well, I know one of the ingredients in your salad!
I like tomatoes!
Are they in the "deadly nightshade" family?
Or is that potatoes?
Yes, that looks like the word, Elle.
But you may have missed out a letter.
The "o"in "micro".
An awful amount of letters in it, anyway!
I think you may well choke yourself trying to pronounce it!

Update, Elle,
Potatoes and tomatoes are in the "nightshade" family.
I presume "deadly nightshade" is something different.

All the same family, rusty - see here
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solanaceae

Potatoes at some stages of growth can be poisonous.

Hi, Rusty!
Looking at the time, Rusty, your son will most probably be with you at this moment ........but I will answer now, anyway!
(You can read this later)
I am confused ...I always thought that mushrooms were in the nightshade family?
And I didn't realise about potatoes and tomatoes being so - also peppers and aubergines apparently.
(I'll just mention here that I cannot eat aubergines...they make me ill)
A lot of nightshade vegetables apparently can cause arthritis, so I have just discovered!
(I wonder about gouty toes?)
I think I need to do some serious reading up on the subject when I get time!
I took another look at that long word.....actually, I didn't so much as miss out the "o" but added an extra "cr"!
It was difficult to copy out!

Hello, Elle!
My son went home early tonight.
He is not quite 100%.
There are many different plants in the nightshade family.
I find the variety quite astonishing!
I have never had aubergines or peppers.
I would be cautious regarding claims that nightshades cause arthritis.
There is a lot of dud info floating about out there.
If there were properly conducted medical trials it would be believable, but, are there?
Have you completed your puzzle?

Hi, Rusty!
I am sorry to hear that your son is not feeling too well.
I hope he will be better tomorrow.
I tend not to take notice of these "trends " about what one should or should not eat,
It would appear that what is good for you at one stage, can be bad for you six months down the line.
Just eat a little of what you fancy and enjoy!
But I shall try to gen up about "nightshades" just out of interest.
Now...a peculiar thing has happened.....
I was trying earlier to log on to EuroSport to find out about the Diamond League.....but I wasn't allowed to do so?
A notice came up saying that my subscription had expired?
Now I am supposedly paying £19-99 for a trial period... this should not finish until December 31st.
I have tried emailing EuroSport, but my emails have twice came back as "unable to be delivered".
I shall try again tomorrow.
But this is looking decidedly fishy, don't you think?

Hello, Elle!
Just a tummy ache my son had.
He'll be fine.
When I was a wee boy I remember my aunt going to see her GP about a chesty cough.
Her GP suggested she smoked a few Woodbines to help clear it up.
So....!
A lot of conflicting advice out there.
I have browsed through a health catalogue before.
They do not actually say their products will benefit you, but there is a strong suggestion to that effect.
So, research your possible "gouty" cures carefully!
I have no idea what is up with your EuroSport trial?
Something untoward going on, at least.
Mo has won his "last" track race!

Update, Elle!
I have been digging on Internet.
Apparently the EuroSport player has a new "app" in the last few days.
I have found a few complaints.
Finland is getting commentaries in Danish, and other odd goings on.
I would keep firing emails at them, or try to find a way to get on their new app.
Must be very annoying!

Hi, Rusty!
Thank you for looking into the EuroSport problem for me.
That was nice of you!
I cannot log in - the site will no longer accept my email address or password.
I am being asked to pay more money (no way am I going to do that!).
The only email address I have for them is
support-uk@eurosport.com
and every email sent there is being returned as "undeliverable"
Do you have an alternative email address, by any chance?
I cannot find out any further information, as I am being blanked at every turn.
The only other thing I can do is hold fire, and see if things improve after a few days , if you think this might be teething problems with a new set-up?
What a bind!

Hello, Elle!
Some folk in Italy and elsewhere have had problems with the new Europlayer site.
This address, www.eurosport.co.uk/contactus.shtml
may be of some help.
Try and see how you get on?
