Hello again Rusty
Regarding carrying cargo, I am sure you will have been shown how the rear seats collapse and fold down forwards to make a large level surface. On one journey to the South Coast we had two large dogs and all the luggage comfortably lying down together with no problems !

Hi, Rusty!
We have just played three games of "Sorry"!
I had to plead for mercy or I would have been inveigled into playing a fourth!
I said it was time I thought about getting their tea!
Yes, you sound to have got a good deal on the new car.
A pity you didn't get the haircut thrown in by the bank lady as an "extra"!
Maybe you might have to resort to DIY with a mirror and the scissors?
I am about a third of the way through the 15x 15, but didn't have time to go further...maybe after the boys have had their baths and are in bed, I may get to take another look!
Is your son coming to see you this evening?
Or is he fishing the Esk?
Right, tea-time.......

Hello, Jazzgirl!
I was not shown how the rear seats collapsed, but was told.
Apparently the Jazz is famous for this.
I shall browse through the manual to learn what everything is for.
There are plenty coffee cup holders, anyway!

Hello, Elle!
I am not criticising the bank lady.
She was excellent!
Just my banter mentioning the haircut!
I have just finished the puzzle.
Not too bad today.
I am expecting my son.
He has not mentioned fishing this week!

It's a doddle, rusty. The man at Honda gave me a demonstration as I told him I needed room for dogs and a low tailgate for them to jump easily into the rear compartment. I have two cup holders and one flask-thingy which has never been used.

...and someone has just told me that the "thingy" is a lidded ashtray ! (reason for not being used obviously )

Hi, Rusty!
I expect your son may still be with you?
I hope you are both having a good chat!
I was but teasing you, Rusty, about the "haircut" being thrown in as a "freebie"!
The boys are now in bed.........
I shall collapse on the sofa very soon, with a cup of strong reviving coffee!
Actually, the children are very good...no trouble at all!
We shall certainly miss them when they go home - probably on Saturday.
I have been speaking to their mum a little while ago, and the courtesy car has still not turned up!
This is surely a poor "do"?
The accident happened on Monday!
She is driving down here tomorrow evening now... having to wait to use their remaining car, once her husband gets home from work.
This week didn't quite work out as planned!

Hello, Elle!
I'll probably cut my own hair, Elle!
I'll leave it until after Saturday in case we go to Pine Cone then.
The girls would likely sit at a separate table and pretend they didn't know me!
You will miss the young ones when they go!
I would have thought your daughter would get a courtesy car within 24 hours?
Has she enquired where is it?
That is partly what she is paying for!

Hello, Jazzgirl,
Yes, I was shown the "ashtray/cup holder".
I do not think it has ever been used.
I stopped smoking 11 years ago so I won't be using it!
The car is spotless inside and out.
My insurance has gone up but my road tax is cheaper.

Good morning, Rusty!
And a very beautiful one it is, too!
I seem to remember that the last time you cut your hair yourself, the girls approved of your "new look" ....and thought that it made you look younger!
Yes, whenever we have needed a courtesy car, it has arrived within 24 hours....I did advise my daughter to chase it up!
And now the goal posts have moved yet again.... we shall have the children for two more days.... daughter is coming down early tomorrow to spend the weekend with us and will then take them back home.
So we shall get to spend some time with her, despite all the intermittent problems.
That will be nice!
Now....how are things at your end?
What time are you collecting your new car?

Good afternoon, Elle!
Been raining mostly here.
Your daughter's car should have been delivered by now, surely?
No haircut yet! Will I...won't I... !
Yes, it will be nice to see your daughter!
I collected my car at 9.00 today.
Filled it with petrol and went for a spin.
I am adapting to it quite well, though the brakes are much more efficient than my Rover.
I shall have to be more light-footed!
I like it, though!
Quite a good puzzle today!

Hi, Rusty!
It has been pouring down here, too, in the latter part of the day.
We have been to the Garden Centre.
I especially wanted some more fuchsia plants.......and we also needed grass seed for a recalcitrant part of the lawn that is refusing to grow!
I am glad your new car is proving a success!
You will be well occupied for a while "playing" with it, and studying the manual!
Have the girls seen it yet?
Do they approve?
Now ...update!
Daughter phoned my mobile whilst we were out.......the courtesy car has at last arrived!
And so she is now on her way here! ETA 6pm!
