Lydia has not shown great form, nor has Charley, but they are both still young.

I can well believe that!
I have just put the heating on for an hour!
I haven't been out with the dog as yet....I am awaiting a delivery sometime this morning, so will go out later once that has come.
The crosswords haven't arrived as yet from John...so no excuse not to get on with some household chores in the meantime!

I hope your back is getting better.
I get a good picture of the osprey nest but there is no sound.
They say they are not allowed to disturb the birds to fix the microphone at the nest.
As far as I know Bryan Coquard has not been selected for Le Tour by Direct Energie.
He refused to sign a new contract in May.
That may be the reason, but I do not think he gets on with Jean-Rene Bernaudeau, the directeur-sportif, anyway.
It is time France won again!
I hope Thibaut Pinot goes well.

The back is improving somewhat, but oh! ever so slowly !
Still, the pain is nothing in comparison to what it was four weeks
ago! Thanks for enquiring.

I am home again after a somewhat chilly walk.
Mind you, I find this far preferable to the intense heat we were suffering last week!
And we haven't so far had any of your rain!
John's crosswords arrived safely......... shortly after I'd told you otherwise.
Again , I found the 15 x15 reasonable .
Either I am in improving (at last!) or this is a new setter?.
Perhaps more on my wavelength?
There were two words that were new to me.......
"ted" and "Ards".
I had to look up both!

I'm sorry to hear that your recovery is so slow, but at least you are gradually "getting there"!
Funnily enough - despite the lack of volume - my reception of the Osprey site is better than it has been for a long time.
I at last have a fully clear picture, with no opacity covering at least half of it!
Mum and chicks are there ...I haven't seen Laddie though for a long time?
