Hi, Rusty!
There are two Diamond League events coming up soon that are going to be shown as Highlights on the BBBC.
I just caught the tail end of an announcement on the TV about them.
But I cannot remember where........and do not know when?
So I am not much use, am I?!
Which DL event is going to be on EuroSport - and when?
I shall try not to forget it this next time!
I shall be buying a paper again tomorrow...so will be able to read about the British Cycling report.
I suspect you are right and the whole shenanigans will be very underplayed? or do I mean "played down"?
I wonder how the commentator will refer to Miss Thingummyjig?
It is quite a name to get his tongue around!

Hello, Elle!
Off the top of my head, I think it is Oslo, on Thursday.
I'll let you know tomorrow.
My TV is off until then.
The Cycling report is due to be released at 11 o'clock so I do not think it will be in tomorrow's paper.
I have read that Jess is unhappy with it, and may take legal action.
We shall see.
British Cycling hired two spin doctors some time ago.
Spin doctors tell lies, in my opinion.
Miss Sherman Thingummyjig is an outsider so may not trouble the commentators too much!
In the Open Phil Mickelson is hoping for a weather delay.
His priority is his daughter's graduation that day, but if there is a hold up he could still make his tee off time.
He has his own jet aeroplane.
Unlikely, though!

Good morning, Rusty!
Another beautiful - and already hot - day here!
I am just back from a walk/ hobble.
I have two loads of washing for the Hill's Hoist!
It will be a good drying day!
Thank you for the update on the TexMex Restaurant!
I have looked up the location of East Street.
That is a part of Bromley that I do not know very well....it has recently been repaved and generally upgraded.
Chimichanga is pictured as housed in the old Post Office - a very impressively styled building.
(The PO has moved to within W.H. Smiths on the High Street)
I shall investigate next time I go to Bromley!
I may even try a burrito!
(I'll take my castanets!)
Now.....should I be watching any athletics / tennis today?

Good morning, Elle!
I "reported" my TexMex post to Norah.
Could be construed as "advertising" the restaurant?
The burritos sound tasty though!
There is tennis on all day.
The Mercedes Cup from Stuttgart.
Also a Triathlon from New Zealand.
I have had two trips to ASDA so far.
I discovered my birthday card had "Goddaughter" on it instead of "Granddaughter"!
My turn for a senior moment!
And, boy, did the ASDA girls laugh!

Hi, Rusty!
I think Norah will forgive you - I doubt she will see it as a "hard sell"!
But if your post disappears from the thread, we will know why!
I thought the decor looked similar to that other restaurant that my daughter visited in the O2 Arena (for her Mothers' Day treat)?
And we found its equivalent in Bromley!
Bromley must be the "In" place to eat!
Your speaking of buying a card wrongly named, reminded me of my last blunder......
I was looking for a card for my granddaughter ...the cards were saying wonderful......marvellous...granddaughter.
So I went with one saying great......granddaughter.
It was only after I got home that I realised that the relationship was then open to misinterpretation!
I took the card back and changed it!
I shall investigate EuroSport player and see what I can find.
I like Triathlons, particularly ones featuring the Brownlee brothers.

Hello, Elle!
I discovered, too, when putting stamps on my cards, that there is printed in the stamp book, the sizes and weights for 1st Class, and 1st Class Large.
That is helpful!
Glad to hear you are spoiled for eating places in Bromley.
Same here, although I do not go in them.
The BC report has been released, and the papers say it has been "heavily diluted", as expected.
The Team Sky/Jiffy Bag is a different enquiry.
BC have told Team Sky to find different offices away from BC headquarters in Manchester.
I watched a bit of "America's Got Talent", (the chicken was on!) but prefer ours.
I did like Tyra Banks, however, who has the Ant and Dec role, on it.
How's you and the EuroSport transmissions getting on?

Hi, Rusty!
I was going to ask you what you thought about the BC report........obviously not a lot?
I don't quite understand about Team Sky having been told to change offices?
Is this purely to disassociate themselves from the main body of BC?
( I wish the "goodies" would wear "white shirts and white hats"!
It was a lot easier in the days of the good old Westerns to differentiate the good from the bad!!)
I have looked in from time to time on the tennis at Stuttgart...mostly I haven't known any of the players.
The timetable tells me I should be watching Roger....but instead I have Johnson v Kohlschreiber.
It is the fifth set though, so maybe Roger will appear after this?
I haven't been able to find the Triathlon?

Hello, Elle!
I am more interested to hear what Jess and her fellow riders, including the Paralympians, have to say about it.
But not heard anything yet.
Maybe taking legal advice first.
Team Sky and BC were far too close for comfort.
BC are funded by our money and therefore the British public should expect a well run team, with particular attention being paid to our youngsters in the programme.
Team Sky are a commercial outfit who race for gain.
It was a BC employee who carried the "jiffy bag" to France for Team Sky to give Wiggins.
There are more examples.
Team Sky wear black shirts, Elle!
Maybe you have missed the Triathlon?

Hi, Rusty!
There you go, you see!
White shirts for the goodies, black ones for the baddies1
An excellent rule of thumb!
Works every time!
Roger has just taken the first set - with two breaks of Haas' serve.
I have an excellent picture on my computer.
