Hello, Elle!
Armstrong was a dreadful person.
At least he was man enough to apologise to Bassons, eventually.
It is quite a good book.
Yes, the golf is good, but it finishes a bit late for me.
Glad all is OK with your cousin!

Good morning, Elle!
Another lovely morning here!
Think the forecast says it will be a bit cooler.
Camera does not appear to be working at the loch.
You will be having it quieter now your family has gone home?
I am off to buy my paper and food.

Good morning, Rusty!
Another glorious day here too, but a tad chilly!
It was 8C when I went out at 8am, and promising to reach a high of only 13C later.
A big change from the previous few days.
Apparently there was a power cut at the Loch yesterday, but the camera is working again now.
I have just seen Lassie get up and turn around, before settling down again on her eggs.
I could still see only two?
Yes, it is very quiet now without the two boys........we shall miss them!
How did your golf go?

Hello, Elle,
Slightly cooler here too.
I had a cardigan on to the shop.
Yes, I see the camera is going again.
Good!
The golf was fine, but I did not see the finale.
I went to my bed!
But SkySports 4 will show it again during the day.
I am pleased for Sergio!
Do you know you have a tennis match this evening?
Roger Federer is playing Sir Andy on Eurosport.
I think it is a charity match.
The Grand National winner, One For Arthur, is trained not too far from here, near a village called Milnathort.
Milnathort is also home to Laura Muir.
Do you think there is something in the air there?

Hi, Rusty!
I cannot find any mention on EuroSport Player of a tennis match this evening?
I have supposedly just studied the TV schedule on there?
Maybe I am missing it?
I should like to watch Roger play.......
But I see that the Belgrade Indoor Athletics Highlights are being shown at 1pm, so I shall try to watch that before going out again this afternoon.
It is only on for an hour, so it will be easy to fit it in.
I like the idea of Laura and the Grand National winner both benefitting from the air in Milnathort!

Well, that was an exciting morning, I had a chimney fire. And yes, it was swept in September. Oxfordshire Fire Brigade are much to be recommended. They had to call out a large vehicle with lift to put it out from the top. Apparently there is a bend in the chimney which prevents the rods going all the way out at the top. They got out buckets of black stuff.
Quite enough excitement for one day!

Gosh Rosalind! What a start to the day!
Has the water created any damage to your room?

Perhaps you might ask your chimney sweaper to also sweap from the top next time? it is currently done here.

Hello, Elle!
7.30 pm. EUROSPORT 1
"Live Tennis. The Match for Africa"
Roger Federer takes on Andy Murray in a Match for Africa exhibition match.
Milnathort is the place for the healthy air!
Who needs altitude!
I hope Laura risked a few bob on her "neigh"bour!
I am awaiting the postie, then I can take myself out for a wee while.
