Good morning, Elle!
Fine day here!
My plan for today is to watch Paris-Roubaix.
Will be on TV around 10.
The race will come alive as they approach the Forest of Arenberg.
Everyone wants to be first into the forest.
Much safer at the the head of the race.
I am watching Paris Marathon just now.
Then the Masters golf from about teatime.
So, my day is full!
You will miss your family when they head home.
No pictures from the loch today?

Hi, Rusty!
Right....the family have left for home.........I think they are calling briefly on friends en route, so should expect to be home by teatime.
My plan to have a go at the Everyman earlier did not materialise !
I was inveigled into playing more board games!
I had a quick shiftie at the Paris Marathon on the EuroSport Player but the picture was awful.........
It seems to be a morning for poor transmission...
I cannot access the osprey webcam either.
I expect by now you are watching the cycling?
I shall resort to a strong coffee...... and then look at the crossword!
We shall go out for walk this afternoon (after we have recuperated!)

Hello, Elle!
I watched the Paris Marathon and was very surprised to see so much greenery in and around the city.
It finished on the Avenue Foch.
The route was very scenic!
Cycling on now.
They have left Compiegne.
It is a beautiful day in France and lovely scenery and old churches etc as they journey toward Roubaix.
A few small groups trying to attack but there will be no serious attacks until they reach the Arenberg.
Today is Tom Boonen's last race.
He has won Paris-Roubaix four times.
I hope he goes well!

Hi, Rusty!
I don't even know who was competing in the Paris Marathon.......
Who won?
I have the recorder set for the Triathlon which is on BBC, so shall watch that later.
And there is the Davis Cup tennis following that.
We are away out for a walk soon, though, so I shall pick up on the tennis when I return.
I hope your cycling goes well.....so is Tom Boonen retiring?
I guess it is a young man's sport!
I have finished the Everyman - it was reasonably straight forward, although it took me longer than usual.
I had one dubious parsing, but....... as I'm writing this, I have just seen what it is!!
So...all finished!
I can go out walking with an easy mind!

Hello, Elle!
Paul Lonyangata won Paris Marathon.
His wife, Purity Rionoripo, won the Paris Women's Marathon.
So, a family double!
I saw the women's Triathlon.
Tom Boonen is retiring, yes.
He has won this race four times, joint record holder.
No crossword for me today!

I've dropped in to Paris-Roubaix until the rugby starts. Peter Sagan was doing well until his "mechanical", but he's still there.

I can;t support Tom Boonen - he's been a naughty boy too often!

btw weather totally inappropriate - it's supposed to be wet, if not actually snowing, for Paris-Roubaix!

Punctured when in the leading 4 - with a team-mate. Didn't see the earlier crashes.

I won't say who won....
