Hello, Elle!
It does not work on Chrome?
That is surprising.
I thought Chrome was better than IE.
I thought anything was better than IE!
That is the thing to do, explore all the gen before deciding.
Yes, smoked haddock, cheddar cheese, and leek, fishcakes, to be precise.
I like them.
I had a look at the pole vaulting from Clermont Ferrand.
It was indoors in a large hall.
Two runways side by side, a jumping area at the end of each.
Men on one runway, women on the other runway.
And excitable MC's shouting non-stop.
Not for me!
I hope Lord Coe does not think this is the future, too!

Hi, Rusty!
I have just finished talking to my cousin.
She phoned me at 7.30 pm - earlier than usual.
They all have coughs and colds up there!
Now......the "gen" says that Windows 10 and IE 11 - which are what I have - work well with EuroSport Player.
And yes, both Euro channels are available, which is what you were asking.
So this is sounding good?
I have reached the end of my tether with BBC Sports transmissions!
Although having said this , I think Indoor Athletics are being shown next weekend?
(but there again, probably only for a shortened period!)
The pole vaulting sounds a bit weird?

Hello, Elle!
Roland Garros is on ITV this year.
I did not think it was.
Good both channels are available.
Make sure it is British Eurosport so you get English commentary.
They broadcast the same programme in 20 different languages, you see.
This is why you rarely see on screen presenters.
They are hidden away!
So, I am not sure what Jonathan Edwards will be doing?
So, your Windows and IE are good, that's fine.
When shall you decide?
The pole vaulting was not up to much.

Hi, Rusty!
I may be being thick here, but why wouldn't it be BRITISH Eurosport if the advert is in English and one is proceeding in English?
I'm asking this because it doesn't (on the surface) seem to give an option to choose a language ?
It may do so perhaps as one progresses with the deal?
But I cannot see this at the onset?
I will check with my daughter tomorrow, and also I can see what transpires as I follow through if I decide to go ahead.
I shall hopefully decide tomorrow as I am wasting part of the deal the longer I leave it!

Hello, Elle,
I am alerting you to the fact that they broadcast in many languages.
There may be a choice. I do not know.
The one you want is called British Eurosport.
I have never tried to buy anything from them.

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, I do appreciate that.
Thank you for making me aware that there might be a potential language problem!
HOWEVER, I have searched through a lot of blurb and I have found the following........(quote):
"Depending on the country you are contracting from, you can watch EuroSport, EuroSport 2 and EuroSport News in several languages"
BUT
"In the UK and Ireland , EuroSport and Eurosport 2 are available in ENGLISH only"
This would seem to settle the issue, don't you think?
It sounds clear enough?
I shall decide tomorrow!
But am thinking all seems set to go ahead?

Well done, Elle!
I'll keep you on your toes!
That seems perfect, I think.
Serbo-Croat would be no good to you down in Bromley.
I can relax now!

Good morning, Rusty!
A lovely day here!
An initial mist and frost - only 1C - but we have blue skies and sunshine now!
I am still feeling a tad fragile but the dog and I have been out for our walk.
I also braved the Post Office on my return to send my letter to the Inland Revenue by Recorded Delivery!
I am drinking coffee and going to relax over the crossword now........
How about you?
What are you up to today?

Good morning, Elle!
Thick frost here, but a lovely morning for all that!
The fresh air will do you good, the saying goes!
I am not long home from shop.
No great plans today.
Good luck with your crossword!

Hi, Rusty!
I think I must be on a crossword roll....!
Or the setters are offering up easier solutions for a change!
Most probably the latter!
I managed to finish Saturday's 15 x 15 (although I still have seven to parse) and today I have done all but three solutions.
I especially liked 15d for some reason!
And 23d was easy, because a friend of mine has recently set up his own practice doing this!
I am still thinking (on and off) about the others!
