Hello, Jazzgirl!
There is a lot of similarities in the tunes, so I see what you mean...so I do.
I'll you a little tale about Tommy Steele.
He was appearing in Dundee's Caird Hall sometime in the Fifties, when he was pulled from the stage by hundreds of girls. He ended in hospital with an injury or two!
I remember it quite well.
Wild women in Dundee!

Elle, I agree with Ginge's post.

Do NOT spend your Amazon gift card on a Taser.

Treat yourself to some nice books.
You know it makes sense!

Rigsby's cat in "Rising damp" was called Vienna, because if he saw eyes when he was put out for the night, it was "Goodnight Vienna".

or another Bernard Hinault Rusty -

I have just checked the dates on Google, and our last win (Hinault) was in .......1985 !!! At the time, we had won several consecutive years, either Laurent Fignon or Bernard Hinault - so it's high time we made an effort again!

Fignon was leading going into the last day in the later 80s when, unprecedently, they finished with a time trial. Greg LeMond pipped him (8 seconds?)

They've never done that again!

And in these days of streamlining, if Fignon chopped off his pony-tail...?

I had forgotten about that Chrise -

In fact I was not living in France at the time, and I was also working so could not watch it on British TV either. Was that last time trial taking place up and down the Champs-Elysees?

It finished on the Champs, but I can't remember where it started - I'll Google.
