Stumped by the end game yet again! - and I haven't got a scooby-doo how 16a parses. 5d is a little naughty.

Agreed dodgepot, but I was referring to the fact that it could belong to either the 15 misprints or the extra letters clues. I had it in the wrong set that had me puzzled for a while. Otherwise, it is a very fair clue.

Just struggling with 28d and it's crosser at 39a, if anyone can nudge!
