Quite a challenge. I found this more difficult than the Grauniad prize.
LOI: 24a.
COD: 19a.

Agree, it was definitely on the tricky side.

Lots to like, including 19a, 21a and 24a.

Oh, and I noticed a rhyming pair - hurrah!

I found this about the same difficulty as recent Everymans, but they seem somewhat tougher of late.
FOI 1a, LOI 5.
Co-COD 19, 13 and 14d (although I never read the key novel and had to google to confirm the obvious guess).
Overall good (thanks to Everyman), though I haven't been enamoured of some recent cryptic and double definition clues.

Add me to the fans of 19. Definitely got a snicker. I usually don’t like the Cockney clues, but 18 was excellent. I also thought 16a quite clever.

Maybe slightly tougher than the average, but a pleasant change from the mess of a Prize yesterday.

6d is interesting. Is Everyman telling us that he also sets on Mondays under a different name?

My forum list is full of adverts which is very irritating.
More importantly, enjoyed today's after a period of getting nowhere.

Still not quite finished as I've not got 5d so cannot decide which of a few options to putin 4a.

Agree on the various favourites and COD - my vote goes to 15a, 16a, 19a

Yevrah - 5d was my LOI even though I’d got 4a quite early on! Def is catches, and it parses as 1,4.

Thanks rogissimo; the lack of 5d was also preventing me from getting 4a (my LOI)

Agree that this was on the harder side, but thought that there were some brilliant clues. Hard to pick a COD, but favourites were 14d, 16a, 19 and 22. Couldn't initially parse 16a (having got what seemed to be the answer from the crossers), but then got that great PD moment!

Thank you julesvern! Your comment on 16a had me wondering what I was not seeing and prompted my own ‘ah’ moment. LOI.
Btw what does PD stand for?
I think I had one!

Morning everyone. Can you help me parse 17d? I'm thinking 4 letter word for fastidious, 1 letter unknown number....and then I've got 2 letters that must mean "proverbial patient type" but I can't see why?!
