Another amazing puzzle. The end game took a while for the penny to drop but it was very satisfying as the elements came to light.

Another good one this week. I confidently wrote down “pinot” for the point out bin clue which made the grid fill more challenging that it should have been.
There are at least 4 (arguably 5) examples of one of the thematic elements in contiguous cells in the final grid. It is obvious which is correct but it does introduce some ambiguity to the end game.
Particularly liked the XXX clue.

I have solved all of the clues except for the "Unruly girl......" one. I am pretty sure I know what the answer must be, but I still can't see it. Would a kind soul be kind enough to give me a hint?

Three letter word for unruly girl gathering most of Romeo. An extra letter is she’d.

0pt0 - the definition is the last word. The 'unruly girl' is the same word as the more frequently used 'unruly boy' - and then you put Romeo in the middle after a) removing Oscar and b) removing the extra latter.

Threw me for awhile too. I've only ever seen it for an "unruly boy" or perhaps "unruly teen."

Hadn't managed to parse the XXX clue, despite being sure of the answer, until flicking through this thread and seeing your "small for the middle one" drxx. Thanks for clearing that up. Very clever clue.

My grids pretty much complete but a hint for the 'KEEP following Abba' paet of clue and the ' They feel for one...' clue would be appreciated. Thanks all
