Requests for help should normally include the clue itself, the number of letters in the answer, and details of any you already have. Any additional information or special instructions, common in Listener puzzles, should also be given.
Hints only, please, no answers.

The theme...
Help with the theme may be sought and given here. The help should be of a reasonably gentle nature, just a nudge or pointer in the right direction - enough to assist a struggling solver, not so much that it would spoil the puzzle for others.
Any posts which, even inadvertently, reveals too much of the theme are likely to be removed.

There are many regulars on these Listener threads, but newcomers are always welcome.

The Listener is a unique puzzle and should be treated with respect.

Just one (fleeting) answer to justify but at least I know it must be right.

...maybe best to leave that one - my 'research' has taken me to some pretty dubious sites so far.

I enjoyed this puzzle - thanks to Vismut. I have one clue unparsed as well - but the answer is clearly ok.

Of course, the ubiquitous maths strikes again.

Do we shade both? If not presumably either will satisfy JEG.

I think the resultant one is the obvious choice.

Nice puzzle. Much less of a GWIT than I'd feared.
