Yes, jono, but you explained it so much more succinctly than I!

Thanks Brendan!

I'm struglling with this. I had a vague memory of the reference in 1a, but if that's the level required throughout, I don't expect to finish.

Currnetly I have the LHS almost complete (just 5d and first letter of 22 missing), but nothing at all in the RHS.

I found this much easier than of late Chrise and I also went LHS first. But I've ground to a halt with SE corner left unfilled. I'm struggling to work out how the hotel ad works in 22a.

Hope your anniversary was good last week.

Finished. 6d was the breakthrough. I needed a wordsearch for 14d, but it is very clever.

I loved 7d, and 11a another favourite.

Thanks also rocky. It went well. Four guests who were at the wedding were at the party.

Is the definition of 14d the last 3 words? I have a word that fits but then I can't find a word for 17a that fits.

No, that's not where the definition is, Rocky7.

Hi Rocky

Re 22a think what you might say to a potential client. I’m finding this very hard. Any hints for 4 d would be appreciated
