I'm in the US, near East Coast.
I've never owned or consulted Chambers, prefer to try and solve puzzles "on my own". I find that more enjoyable, though it rules out puzzles that heavily rely on Chambers, such as Azed and other barred compositions. Sometimes look at NSOED, the general dictionary I have.

Good point, geeker. I got the Chambers app when I started doing the Listener. Otherwise, I could make do with online sources. The Listener is so specific to Chambers though.

Daz, I am on the west coast as well - San Diego. However I am splitting time between there and Oklahoma until my youngest graduates high school.
