Hi all, if anyone is still there. For various reasons, I only got around to doing the Everyman today and I'm stumped on my last one; 26a. I have
?S?E. Any hints gratefully received.
Thanks for the explanation of 4d which I simply biffed, and had no idea about the parsing. I thought the 'des' part was a bit tenuous!
Other than those two, I thoroughly enjoyed this and agree with others about 3,10 and 11 across. All brilliant clues.
