We’ll find this gentle at all! Very good though, hard to pick a COD, I’ll go with 25 - brilliant!
Thanks to Vlad.

I need some help to get started.

Are there any anagrams?

10 and 17 are straight anagrams with fodder fairly clear.

Wow. I am poor at this. I still don’t see them!

Thanks for advice.

i think you mean 12 rather than 10, geeker, and 17 isn't a "straight" anagram.

14 is a str5aight anagram, though.

4d (hopefully you know your plants) and 12a (hopefully you know your music) got me going.

Still tough after that but they get you in.

4d is a bit ambiguous as an anagram, because there are 2 places you can put the S (though one of those doesn't match the enumeration)

Thanks for help on 3d everyone. I had the right word but as advised looked up saw in Chambers. I must try and remember that next time it appears.

Chris, my anagram post was complete gibberish!
I looked at the most recent "Cryptic" rather than "Prize" grid.
Apologies to druh.
I should not post before drinking AM coffee.
