Lumen, isn't it 24 characters, not 22?

I'm really struggling. I only have one across answer, apart from the obvious one with the shape, and even here, 13ac, I've only got the total w/play and definition, no idea about the partial w/play.

Hints please for 2dn?

&lit, with the first word being anagrind.

No too unfair/too unusual answers in the acrosses - though the jumbles clearly make things slightly harder to get traction from the downs.

Oh yes, I failed to count 27a as its in a different column.

I have all the answers to the clues except for 13. Could someone give me a nudge? I have no idea even what the definition is.
I can't complete the three unches in 17 because I can't solve the short wordplay, even though I'm sure I've identified it, since I have the answer and the full wordplay. Again, a nudge would be appreciated.

Ukridge, def is 3 word phrase in middle of clue ( I do miss having the definition in the usual place!)

I am struggling with this. I cannot solve 1.11.17.23 or 30 across. 27a are a tool related to old cars. I think having 4 unches in a 12 letter answer is bordering on the unfair. Take, for example 23a, where I have, I think, an 8 letter string (the final 8 letters) that leaves 2 unches, but I cannot see the normal wordplay nor the definition.
