Can a third name be found (in full, if not necessarily in sequence) in the 4th row?

But if so, I confess that I'm struggling to understand how these three names connect at all to the source poem.

Really enjoying this so far but have been trying all afternoon to work out the final stage of filling in the empty cells. I’m pretty confident some of them only have one option to make real words but that hasn’t helped. Any clue would be much appreciated!

Three left to complete the grid:
10ac, 38ac,5d.
I think they all have gaps.

Any tips gratefully received
thanks

I have a full grid, apart from the intentional blank cells: I have identified the possibilities for filling those cells: I have found three words from the superfluous "material" which are the last in a poem of the same name and relevant to the title of the puzzle. Absolutely no idea how to find the five names. Does three words sound right for the end of the poem?

Ifor's preamble is particularly helpful because it specifies 'rows' ('in a straight line', would have been less helpful). And you should already have a good idea which rows are significant so, once you identify some likely candidates for the empty cells, maybe look a little further...

10a The 'key' grows on something, and the final five words of the clue adapt the word immediately before them.
38a Earlier I offered 'short!' as a (hopefully) gentle hint for this one - the first two words for the def.
5d Reverse an apple variety (def 'note').

0pt0 - not three words - and the title of the poem isn’t the same as the last words.
