Agree with your repetitions Buddy. I now have 41 total theme references so it must be that one of the full answers, possibly 6 or 61, wasn’t intended.

Hello again

I'm back with some still to get and many more theme words to identify. I can't find 6a as theme word in my list of such words. I use the Chambers Complete Crossword Companion.

Please can I have a hint for 33 ac. I have ??V?N???L?. Is it a foreign word or a person? Needless to say, I haven't got 25d or 35d to help. Oops, I may have just got 35d, though I can't fully parse it.

Hi Roof

33a Not a word I knew. But the v and the n are part of an obvious theme word. Only just over an hour or so from us. Means a religious type person.

I'm taking the whole BH to finish this. Loads of answers I haven't parsed yet.

Roof - I had to Google 6a once I’d tentatively got it from the parsing. I found that it is indeed a theme word (but Googling didn’t reveal the other definition, discussed above). I only knew the word as a capital city (strangely NOT clued).

there are several of the theme word in 33 - the word actually means the same as the theme ... the full 33 was the original book-burner, hanged in 1498 and then himself burned - famous picture in the Uffizi.

Hi Prospero

Got him. I'd never heard of him, but my husband had and belittled my GK. But I can't parse it and can't see a second theme word.

Now I just need to parse 35d and solve 25d. What is the definition for 25d?

My daughter was meant to be visiting today, but has cried off with a cold, thus allowing me to carry on. I've still got 14d, 25d, 53d, 55d and 61ac to get. I must count up my theme words. I've taken to listing them!

The definition for 25d is the first word of the clue.

33 after the theme word, one letter ‘has’ then ‘A’ then a 5 letter word for “a roll of sheep’s wool” minus the last letter. If you’re like me you won’t have heard of it!
